The only way non-Owners of Dashboards become aware of a Dashboard being republished is if (a) they happen to notice changes in the Dashboard design since the last time they viewed the Dashboard, or (b) if the Dashboard Owner (outside of Sisense) proactively notifies Viewers that they have republished the Dashboard. I would like to see a feature where there is a visual indicator to non-Owners that informs them that "This Dashboard has been republished by the Owner since the last time you viewed the Dashboard." We embed Sisense into our application and produce pre-built dashboards for customers (which they cannot edit). We allow our users to create their own dashboards as well and with this comes the ability to create their own formulas. We have found that allowing them to edit the name of their formula also allows the editing of our pre-built shared formulas and our attributes. While this only impacts the user locally, it can become a support nightmare, as customers can rename our pre-built items and make it hard to them troubleshoot. We would like the ability to make these edit options more granular so that we can control (1) Shared Formula name edits (2) Attribute name edits and (3) non-shared Formula, local user dashboard, name edits. ... When we are building pivot tables, sometimes there is a need to sort things by the columns. If I want to show a pivot table with a Team Lead as the rows, Total Spend and Total Volume as the values, and Weeks as the the columns, I have no way to sort this to show the date in descending order and keep the table structure the way I want to see it. When using dependent filters and selecting new filter values this automatically resets all filter values already chosen.  Whilst this is desirable from a security perspective, not all models have security applied.  The proposition here is to have a toggle or similar that the designer/owner of the dashboard can use to turn this behavior on/off.  Thus the reset reasoning behind this can be maintained if required for that model or use case and the behavior can be turned off if non resetting is optimal for the use case needed. ... Currently the Usage cube has a dimUsers table that has User Name but it is the email address.  It can be tough to know just from an email address, who the person is.  It would be nice to have the First name and Last name of the user available.  Certainly I could try to make a connector into the mongoDB and lookup the First/Last based on the user id.  But a) I don't want to modify the out of the box usage cube and b) that seems like a lot of work for something that could be added as part of the out of the box usage cube. NOTE: This is based on a post I made in the "Help & How To" forum. It was recommended to me to make a post here, in the Product Feedback forum, about it. There should be a way for Sisense to display the currently-selected filter values directly on the dashboard. I know that users can see this by expanding the right-hand sidebar to see the Dashboard Filters, and it's also a display option when you export to PDF. However, these aren't always obvious or available to the intended audience for the dashboard. For example, if I have a dashboard that's setup with a dashboard-level filter for "Work Group", it would be nice if I could display - directly on the dashboard itself - what work group is currently being filtered down to. Also, some of the values can be unclear, especially for date filters that use colloquial language such as "This Year" or "Last Quarter". There should be some way of displaying the exact date ranges that are being filtered for. For example, if today is November 13th 2024, then the "Last Quarter" filter value would mean dates from July 1st 2024 through September 30th 2024. But after the new year, if I were to check the dashboard again on January 6th 2025, then the date range would instead be from October 1st 2024 through December 31st 2024. Currently, in both cases, it'll just still how as "Last Quarter" and it's up to the user to figure out what that means (which can be difficult if they're looking at a static printout from some unknown time in the past). Other time periods can also be ambiguous or prone to misunderstanding. For instance, it's common to see people assume "Last Week" means a rolling time period covering the last 7 days, rather than the prior calendar week. Or assuming "Last 2 months" means the same as "this and last month", rather than the prior two calendar months not including the current month.  ... View more

Hi, I have issue with setting two date dimensions in dashboard. The goal I want to achieve is to have a history of records, which are also have it's own date dimension. You can download model and dashboard. I would like to have difference in growth ower selected period for defined dates. For example 2 days ago I sold a car for 1000, and yesterday the proce have changed to 1500. The sale date is for today. So the growth over 2 days is 1500, and for 1 day 500. Additionally i would like to compare those values to previous year, and go back with both date dimensions. Tricky part is also, that if there is not sale for this year, PastYear() wont count prior year. I tried to play around with filtered measure plugin, however it doesn't give me exactly what i want. Hi, Working on a dashboard containing 3 pivot tables. Each have a lot of columns. (see print screen attached). In order to have a proper PDF, I need to turn the page format to A0 / landscape When exporting to PDF at the Dashboard level (from the pdf button top right), I access to a PDF setup, where I can choose the layout (landscape) and the paper format (A0), so that all the columns appears properly. In this screen, there is a Save button so that the PDF setup is saved for next time (see print screen) When exporting to pdf at a widget level, the same setup otions are available (landscape and A0), BUT THERE IS NO SAVE BUTTON. I have to redo this setup each time (see print screen). Could we have the the Save button on the widget / PDF option page, same as we have ar the dashboard / pdf option page please ? Thank you ... When building dashboards, a common frustration is the lack of ability to multi-select widgets and perform mass actions, such as moving a group of widgets all-together at the same time, or deleting multiple widgets at once. Currently, to do either of those actions, you must do it one-at-a-time on each widget individually. This is tedious and time-consuming if you have many widgets you need to move or delete. It would be nice if there was some way to select multiple widgets at once and perform some kind of mass action on them, like click-and-drag to reposition, or to select "delete" and delete all selected widgets at once. I'm not sure what the best way to do this would be. Perhaps a toggle at the top of the dashboard that allows you to click a checkbox next to each widget. Similar functionality already exists for the main dashboard list, on the left-hand sidebar...a toggle at the top will cause checkboxes to display next to each dashboard (or dashboard folder). Checking any of the boxes will cause additional options to display at the bottom of the sidebar, allowing you to export or delete the selected dashboards. Alternatively, if there were a way to "group" widgets into a container of some sort, then you could perform an action on that container which would apply to all widgets within it. For example, if you had a container, and then three widgets inside, you could select the container and move it, which would move the widgets as well, or you could select "delete" which would delete the container and everything inside it. ... Currently, the Area Map widget only offers two map types: World and USA. This becomes problematic if your data is limited to a specific country (Indonesia, in my case), and you only want to display that country on the map. I've managed to filter for Indonesia using the following code: ...res.geoJson.features.filter(feature => feature.properties.name === 'Indonesia'), However, this approach leads to another issue: when the dashboard loads, the Indonesian area is too small, and I have to manually zoom in. I would greatly appreciate any code or method to set the widget to automatically zoom into the Indonesian region when displayed on the dashboard. ... Hi, There are many widget types that are part of the core of an analytical solution. Examples like Tabber, Jump to Dashboard, Accordion... are tools that the business users find very powerful and gives Sisense the fleixbility in the visualization that put the platform in the road to copete with powerful visualization tools like Tableau. But, the profile of most of designers are business analyst or business users. To use and to configure properly this kind of visualizations, makes them to enter in a Javascript world, that it's very confusing and dirty. It makes that the promise of "self service" is not to close. I would like to see some improvements regarding the pivot table in Sisense: Measures as rows Right now, when you add multiple measures to the pivot table they are automatically added as an extra column. Every major player in the BI business allows for measures to be added as rows, I would like Sisense to do so as well Expandable dimensions (could be used for almost every widget type) Let's say I have a pivot table showing revenues with categories as rows and years as columns. Ideally, I would like these to be expandable, i.e. if I click on the + icon for years, it should show me the quarters, months and so on. This could also be implemented for line, bar and column charts.  For categories e.g. I would like to expand to sub-categories. Upon receiving the warning "Maximum number of series (50) exceeded", the warning does not reappear with a widget, dashboard, or page refresh. Instead, a filter change is required in order to trigger it again. IMO the warning should persist with refreshes and be visible every time due to the impact of the limitation being exceed - data is literally missing from the widget and the widget does not reflect the data set expected by the user.  To that end of being clear about the impact of having more series than the limitation allows, the warning would be best reworded to indicate that impact and avoid users making decisions on an uncontrolled subset of data. For example, "Results limited to maximum number of series (50)..." or "Data limited..." This limitation should also be documented in Sisense documentation, but is not currently. ... View more

This is a request to enhance this feature in community thread of the same title. This is useful because it allows users to see all the available dimension for a particular list of filters even if there are no facts for it. I understand that we can also use this community thread; however, this is only limited to 1 dimension. However, right now, it does not work when [Columns] field are added into pivot table. We would like to add a date/day [Columns]. Ideally for us, the left outer join should only be by the [Row] and allow data to be broken into [Columns]. ... View more

The email schedules have a limitation when the file used in attachment is large in size. Most email servers have a 25mb max limit.  It would be really helpful, if there was an option to include a downloadable link in the email. When a user schedules an email, with the link option, the attachment is downloaded to a temporary path and the link to that path is provided in the email. Clicking on the link should download the file from the temporary path which can be an s3 bucket or from some server. We can keep a retention policy of few days for the files. ... View more

We produce pre-built dashboards for our customers.  They can build their own as well.  Often, they will start with one of our pre-built dashboards and modify to their needs. Users want a way to "filter out" our pre-built once they have created their own.  One mechanism mentioned was the ability to "Favorite" a dashboard and have a new "Favorites" toggle on the Analytics tab. ... Within dashboards, the only way to know currently if there is a filter on a widget is to open that widget. This is VERY time consuming if there are multiple widgets within a dashboard (we sometimes have up to 10). Please add an icon at the top of widgets (near the pencil would be great). If the icon is grey, no widget level filter is set. If the icon is colored in, a filter is set. If a filter is set, mousing over the icon should return a preview of what the filter is. ... View more
