In the window that contains the details of a group, we can see / add / remove users associated with the group. I would like to have the same fetaure with the cubes that are shared with that group. So it would become possible, in the same groupd etail windows for a given group to see / add / remove shared cubes. Thanks you and kind regards, Franck Be able to save PDF setup for a widget Hi, Working on a dashboard containing 3 pivot tables. Each have a lot of columns. (see print screen attached). In order to have a proper PDF, I need to turn the page format to A0 / landscape When exporting to PDF at the Dashboard level (from the pdf button top right), I access to a PDF setup, where I can choose the layout (landscape) and the paper format (A0), so that all the columns appears properly. In this screen, there is a Save button so that the PDF setup is saved for next time (see print screen) When exporting to pdf at a widget level, the same setup otions are available (landscape and A0), BUT THERE IS NO SAVE BUTTON. I have to redo this setup each time (see print screen). Could we have the the Save button on the widget / PDF option page, same as we have ar the dashboard / pdf option page please ? Thank you Re: Every widget data exported into Excel Hello, I understand the concerns regarding the overload, but the export in a single excel file option already exists in the premium plugin ReportManager. So why wouldn’t it be possible in Sisense ? The option to export every data in many csv files would also be good to have, and by the way it already exists in ReportManager as well. Re: Base Table Maximum threads to be setup per cube Hi Dray, Let me try to give you more details about eh option "Base tables Max Threads" 1. Current situation The option "Base tables Max Threads" is set in the menu "System Configuration", hence the same for every cubes 2. My initial proposal : Be able to define this value per cube. But I understand your concern about a risk of overload. 3. Alternate proposal #1 : Be able to define it per Data Group. Having a new option "Base tables Max Threads" in this menu : 4. Alternate proposal #2 : Be able to define it per Connector. Having a new option "Base tables Max Threads" in this menu : => My prefered alternate option is #2 (per connector) Indeed, in makes sens to define the parallelism level per type of data source (ie : when accessing a standalone database is not the same as accessing a clustered database where we can increase the number of queries run in parallel) What do you think ? Kind regards, Franck Re: Defining the default aggregation function per dimension Hi Dray, Let me try to clarify my idea. 1. From Data Model Design : In the menu to set options for the tables / columns (see print screen below), having a new option "Default agregation function". A drop down list with options : Sum / Count all / Count unique / Min / Max / Average / Median / Variance / Standard deviation, along with "Duplicate" / " Rename" / "Hide" ... The example below (field NB_CMAD) is a numeric. Because of the type, the default option will be set to Sum. But, thanks to the menu I propose, the Data model designer will have the option to change it to something else (like "Count unique" in my example) 2. From the Widget design The widget designer will be proposed "Count Unique" by default instead of "Sum" as they have now (see print screen below) Of course there will still be the "More" option for the widget designer to change the agregation option if needed. => This way, the Data Model Designer - who knows best what is the right agregation function to apply - will have the control over the default option. Hoping this is clearer now. Let me know. Best regards, Franck Re: Every widget data exported into Excel Hi DRay No, no. I am not asking to include ReportManager features in the out-of-the-box Sisense. I am asking to add the option "Excel (all dashboard widgets into a single file)" in the Dashboard menu / "Download" option, along with "Download PDF" and "Dowload Image" (see screen copy below) Hoping this clarify my request. Thank you Every widget data exported into Excel Hello, It would be good to be able to export data to Excel from the Dashboard menu. Currently, one dashboard containing 3 widget requires to go to each widget and export to Excel, resulting in 3 diffrente Excel spreadsheets. Users are requesting to be able to export every widget data into one single Excel file / each data widget in one seperated tab. This features exists in ReportManager, so it is difficult to understand why it is not available from the dashboard view. Thank you and regards, Franck Desactivate wizard module when adding a new widget When adding a new widget, the wizard editor module popups. This module generates confusion with our users community as they don't recognize the advanced editor they are used to. Would it be possible to define wether of not we want to use the wizard editor ? - Ideally, let the user choose whether or not he want to use the wizard module (on option at the user profile module). - At first usage, a popup windows asking "Do you want to use the wizard module Y/N" + a tick box "don't show this window next time" Thank you, Franck Defining the default aggregation function per dimension Currently, the aggregation function depends on the type of the dimension : - Text or date => Distinct count - Numeric => Sum In our use case, this default assignation is not always accurate as it is sometime required to use Distinct Count with numeric fields. It would be good to hauve the default aggregation function to be choosed by the cube designer, when developping the metadata layer (ElastiCube or Live cube). This way, the dashboard designer will be proposed the accurate function without need to change it. This is particlary interesting with a users population that don't have analytics background and for which choosing the correct agregation function is not obvious. Thank you Base Table Maximum threads to be setup per cube Hello, Currently the number of queries running in parallel during an EC build is set at the server level. With setting "Build / Base Table Max Threads" (4 by default). The optimised number of simultaneous queries is very much dependant on the context of the EC. For instance, an EC with 4 differents date source is more likely to accept a high number of simultaneous queries (spread over the 4 data sources), than an EC with only one data source. Therefore, I would like to suggest to make this setting per cube instead of at the server level. An alternative would be to have this setting at the Data Group level. Thank you and best regards, Franck
