This is a request to enhance this feature in community thread of the same title. This is useful because it allows users to see all the available dimension for a particular list of filters even if there are no facts for it. I understand that we can also use this community thread; however, this is only limited to 1 dimension. However, right now, it does not work when [Columns] field are added into pivot table. The email schedules have a limitation when the file used in attachment is large in size. Most email servers have a 25mb max limit.  It would be really helpful, if there was an option to include a downloadable link in the email. When a user schedules an email, with the link option, the attachment is downloaded to a temporary path and the link to that path is provided in the email. Clicking on the link should download the file from the temporary path which can be an s3 bucket or from some server. We can keep a retention policy of few days for the files. ... View more

Currently there’s no way on the Sisense UI to have an overview of when the next ElastiCube Builds are set for. Having such info available would make it possible to easily select relevant time slots to run load testing scripts for instance, but also more broadly to help understand and finetune the current Builds orchestration. In order to do so, we would like for admin roles to have access to a single table-like page that would list all the Builds scheduled in the next 24 hours with the following columns: ElastiCube name Build start date Build theoretical end date* Last successful Build duration * Build theoretical end date = Build start date + Last successful Build duration * (or NULL in the rare event where the Build has never succeeded before) Additional features: CSV Export Sort option on column headers Pagination Note: a single Elasticube can have more than one entry (in the example below, we assume the admin user opens the page at 3:00 PM and the ElastiCube_B's Build is launched every 2 hours). ... I would like to see some improvements regarding the pivot table in Sisense: Measures as rows Right now, when you add multiple measures to the pivot table they are automatically added as an extra column. Every major player in the BI business allows for measures to be added as rows, I would like Sisense to do so as well Expandable dimensions (could be used for almost every widget type) Let's say I have a pivot table showing revenues with categories as rows and years as columns. Ideally, I would like these to be expandable, i.e. if I click on the + icon for years, it should show me the quarters, months and so on. This could also be implemented for line, bar and column charts.  For categories e.g. I would like to expand to sub-categories. I've been trailing the Report Manager add-on and was disappointed to see that the 'Event Based' option for triggering reports did not allow for Pulse Alerts to be used as an Event. It seems the current workaround is to use a tool like Zapier (so the pulse goes out to Zapier via webhook, which then creates the Event and goes back into Sisense, causing the report to be sent. This seems convoluted and I would have thought being able to directly integrate Pulses to trigger Reports seems like a natural fit. ... View more

Add the ability to programmatically export a Widget with specific filters and/or to export it as a certain user using the /dashboard/{id}/widgets{id}/ endpoint. User Story#1 As an admin I want to make api calls to the widget pdf export endpoint and include userid and custom filters so that I can download an export on behalf of another user in the system and specify the filters  Acceptance Criteria I can pass 2 properties to the export endpoint: User Id and filters Both parameters are optional and can be used separately from each other If a user Id parameter is provided, the Widget is exported on behalf of the provided user including the current filters applied and data security rules. If a custom filters parameter is provided, the Widget is exported with the custom filters. Hi, Currently in the filters, we are unable to directly filter a comma separated list of entries. The options available are individually selecting the members, however that can get tedious if the list of entries we need to filter are large. For example, filter more than 100 entries. The other option is using the custom option in the filter. However, that too requires JAQL code which might be difficult for non technical users.  It can be useful to have the option to directly copy paste a comma separated list of entries in the filters instead of multiselecting or using the custom JAQL option.   ... We have had several users complain that the way series selection for charts is not intuitive. Currently, when you have multiple series in a line chart and click on one in the legend, it gets disabled to highlight the others. The intent is to allow focus, but it's the wrong way around - most users expect that the item clicked should be selected and the others hidden. The current behaviour is quite painful if you want to see one series when there are several (you have to click on all the others). Is there a simple way to reverse the selection behaviour, or do we need to look at other options: wrap the control and handle it ourselves (possible?) build some drop-downs/UI to allow selection of whats shown some other neat UI work-around?? ... Hi, There are many widget types that are part of the core of an analytical solution. Examples like Tabber, Jump to Dashboard, Accordion... are tools that the business users find very powerful and gives Sisense the fleixbility in the visualization that put the platform in the road to copete with powerful visualization tools like Tableau. But, the profile of most of designers are business analyst or business users. To use and to configure properly this kind of visualizations, makes them to enter in a Javascript world, that it's very confusing and dirty. It makes that the promise of "self service" is not to close. Hello, Currently the number of queries running in parallel during an EC build is set at the server level. With setting "Build / Base Table Max Threads" (4 by default). The optimised number of simultaneous queries is very much dependant on the context of the EC. For instance, an EC with 4 differents date source is more likely to accept a high number of simultaneous queries (spread over the 4 data sources), than an EC with only one data source. Therefore, I would like to suggest to make this setting per cube instead of at the server level. An alternative would be to have this setting at the Data Group level. The number of source of frustration and confusion amongst our users, when building Dashboards, is conflicts/inconsistencies between Dashboard and Widget filters. I have separately suggested that Sisense introduce a visual indicator of widget-level filters and it sounds like that is planned for the future, which is great. Another related feature that a user suggested was a "reset all widget filters" button which would be a single place at the Dashboard level. If the user clicks it, it forces all Widget filters to (a) be deleted (or maybe disabled?), and (b) puts the widget filter settings back in-sync with the dashboard (meaning if the user has selectively toggled off Dashboard filter inheritance at the widget level, that will revert back to the defaults). This is a really quick and easy method to put users back to square one if they have painted themselves into a corner, so to speak. ... View more

When viewing a Dashboard, it is impossible to determine whether there are filters being applied at the widget level without opening each widget individually and reviewing whether (a) the inheriting of Dashboard-level filters has been disabled and/or (b) if additional and/or conflicting filters have been applied at the widget-level. This makes troubleshooting and/or viewing Dashboards very cumbersome. I'd like to see a simple visual flag from the Dashboard view indicating that "there is a filter applied within this widget". This idea aims to help on-premises installations or live connections to better control load. The scenario: we have a big amount of users using the Report Manager plug-in, and we cannot limit the number of reports they can create or even the minimum periodicity for their schedules. Currently any user will be able to create a big number of reports, and those reports in a worst case scenario could be sent every hour. It could case a high usage of server resources. It is possible to setup the number of concurrent reports that will be processed, but depending on the number of reports it could cause bottlenecks and big deliver delays. The idea: adding some new 'admin' settings to Report Manager plug-in: - Maximum number of reports per user: defines the maximum number of reports a unique user can create. We could use 0 for unlimited (current behavior). - Maximum number of reports per user group: defines the maximum number of reports a user group can create. Same ideia as the above, but related to user groups. It could be a unique setting for any user group, or maybe a map with specific limits for each user group. - Minimum periodicity for scheduling: currently Report Manager offers the hours, days, week and months options. For instance, if this setting is set to days, then users will not be able to select hours when creating new schedules. Current existing schedules could be kept. ... View more

It would be cool if our end users could receive a Digest Email that is sent out on a frequent basis from Sisense. This email would be most relevant if it was based on the groups a user is assigned to already. This would ensure relevant communication, as well as ensure there is control over the reports included in the digest that the user would already have access to them. We would not want the digest email to included recommended reports the user doesn't already have access to. If it was a feature the Admin could turn on/off at the group level that would be our preference. The feature would allow the Admin to select how often the digest went out (weekly, monthly, etc). The feature would allow the Admin to select what content was included: For example:  Changes, Top Used/Popular in the Users Groups (i.e. Org), and then for us I think Newly Published Reports would be ideal.  This would allow an organization to choose whether every time a new dashboard is released the user is notified, for us we would prefer a section in the digest that has these 3 dashboards were released to your group(s).  Other BI tools do already offer this-- Attached is an example of the Power BI digest, as reference.
