Use Case: As a user, I want to be able to share a dashboard with another user with the pre-selected filters so that they can see the same results as I do. Description: The current functionality of the dashboard filters is user-specific, meaning that each user has their own selected filters. However, there is a need to enable users to share a dashboard with another user, ensuring that the pre-selected filters are applied, allowing them to view the same results. This enhancement would allow a user to easily share a dashboard, including their filter selections, with another user. When the recipient accesses the shared dashboard, they would see the same filter settings as the original user, providing a consistent and synchronized view of the data. By enabling the ability to share dashboards with pre-selected filters, users can streamline collaboration, discussions, and decision-making processes. This feature enhances the dashboard-sharing experience and ensures that all parties involved are viewing the same data and insights.

It would be nice to have an officially supported Events endpoint, that lists all the alerts / pulses / notifications that were sent out when an event was triggered. This allows users to create dashboards giving a quick overview of where problems occur. There already is an /events endpoint, but it is not officially supported and not listed in the APIs, so we were only able to find out about it by creating a support ticket.

When Pivot or Table widgets, the options for formatting a datetime column allow showing the date OR the time, with no option to show both together (e.g. if format was "dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss" then we could get "23/10/2022 17:05:21").

We would like to configure multiple data security rules on a live data source table. With the available APIs there is a constraint to set one rule at a time. Having an API that accepts a collection of multiple rules is desired for our use case since we have more that 18,000 rules to be set.

System emails like shared dashboards or report manager include links where the URL resolves to the Sisense instance. For white labeling / embedded products this doesn't work. If we had access to more variables when customizing templates we would have greater flexibility in designing workflows. Specifically if we had access to the <id> of the dashboard and instance & group level parameters this would make the messages far more customizable and useful in a variety of scenarios. Some of the other metadata as variables would also be very helpful and make emails more valuable.

I use pulse alerts to alert my clients when there is data on Sisense that needs their attention. The Pulse alert emails are accompanied by a big yellow 'Open Pulse' button. This button is the obvious thing to click on, but unhelpfully, it leads to the 'Pulses' tab of Sisense, not the actual dashboard. As a viewer, I want to jump straight to the dashboard, not be confused but this 'Pulses' tab which I most likely will not have seen before nor used. An option to have the button instead open the dashboard directly would be much better and make it much easier to engage customers with the Sisense platform. I know there is a link to the dashboard on the pulse itself, but going via this screen this is inconvenient at best and confusing at worst.

For users who wish to receive their Dashboard contents using the Subscription service, Sisense supports embedded emails or PDF format only. For convenience and expedience, I would like to see support for users to receive compatible Dashboards (e.g. Pivot Tables) directly as an Excel attachment. This will help for users who wish to receive regular emails containing important data in Excel format for integration with other systems.

Would like to have the ability to share multiple dashboards at one time instead of 1 at a time. Moving to Sisense from another software and having to share 50+ dashboards is very time consuming.

Hi, I want to show in my dashboard the values of the last 12 months period. As I do not want to select the month every month manually, it should be dynamically taking always the last 12 months. So far I am using the advanced settings in the filter: { "last": { "count": 12, "offset": 0 }, "custom": true } The issue is, that my available data is not always up to date. Therefore, I want to select the last 12 months counting the offset back 2 months from the selected month in the filter. As far as I understood is that the offset counts back from the current date disregarding the filters settings. I would need something like thi: { "last": { "count": 12, "offset": 2 (counting from date selected in "sale date" filter) }, "custom": true }

With the Sisense Report Manager add-on, we need the ability for a Viewer to create AND modify a report schedule that has been shared with them. Example: Jack (Designer) shared a report with Jill (Viewer) to monitor the health of her building assets. Jill would like to get a snapshot of this report emailed to her every month; however, she must manually communicate with Jack for him to create this report schedule on her behalf. Jill would like to create the report schedule herself. Jack created the report schedule to be sent to Jill every month. After three months of this, Jill prefers the report schedule to be sent out on a weekly basis. She must manually communicate with Jack for him to modify this report schedule on her behalf. Jill would like to modify the report schedule herself. Now multiply Jill by thousands of customers for our specific business use case... This will quickly become unsustainable for us. Please prioritize these features for Report Manager as it is a premium Sisense add-on. We understand that today with the Sisense native scheduler, a Viewer would be able to modify their report schedule if the creator allows the Viewer to edit subscription settings. Why is this not a capability of the Sisense Report Manager, at the very least?

The Sys.Admin user, can open any dashboards from Analytics - All or added /adminAccess at the end of the URL. Please add the possibility to open any URL for admin user without adding /adminAccess at the end.

Users would like to be able to define the text sent in the email notification body. Each report sent via Report Manager could have a different text to explain the content of the report / the frequency / the purpose ... For now, it only possible to customize the email body at the server level

Add the name of the dashboard onwer in the email notification sent by Report Manager. Some users are receiving reports they don't expect from Report Manager . They don't know who has schedule d the report. They want this information so that they ask the owner to be removed from the distribution list.

For now, dimensions are displayed to the dashboard designer in the alphabetic orders of the tables / columns names. I would like the datamodel designer to have the control over sorting / grouping the dimensions. Ex : 3 tables Address Number Street City City Zip code Country Country Currently : the list of dimension will contain 3 groups: Address / City / Country The columns in each will also be sorted by alphabetic order. Expected : the datamodel designer will choose how he want these columns to be displayed, for instance, under one single group : Address Number Street Zip code City Country

Hi All, Does the funnel chart support enabling and disabling dynamic sizing (as per the funnel widget was supporting earlier) or is it possible to achieve it using jQuery, Also can the names be displayed inside the funnel chart - with any native option, or is it possible to achieve the same using jQuery, As it was displayed inside the funnel widget. With the "Jump to Dashboard" add-on installed & the "suppress _drill_" dashboard parameter configured, SiSense hides the _drill_ dashboards from everyone except the owner (which includes the sisenseadmin account). As a result, it is hard for the administrator to view and/or manage _drill_ dashboards that are owned by a designer. There is a workaround via F12 that SiSense showed me, but it's not intuitive. It would be nice if there was a parameter to allow the sisenseadmin to always have the ability to see/edit the _drill_ dashboards (or perhaps that should be the default behavior).

Currently, when using the Usage Analytics EC you do not have the ability to audit for everything you need when it comes to what your users are downloading. Right now all we can audit for is PDF, Image, and CSV. I would like the ability to be able to audit for Excel, PPT and any download options that are made available. Management wants to know who is downloading what, but right now we can only give data for some items and only for 30 days. I would like to be able to have a larger selection of items to audit that utilize a customizable timeframe for how long to retain history for a select data point. If we are to audit for a pattern of downloads 30 days does not meet our needs. Currently, if we want to audit for more than 30 days, we would need to get the data in a format that can then be loaded into an external DB that can then be reincorporated back into an EC for reporting. This seems to be a waste of time and resources when this should be able to happen in the source system.

While there are some workarounds... * create a user on behalf of the recipient * create a user that has the email address of an email distribution list * create a forwarding rule in your email ...many of our users would like to schedule some dashboards to be sent via email with support for a pdf attachment to people who are not and will never be Sisense users in their system. Our application (we're OEM) supports this for reports in the application, and there's an expectation that dashboard emailing would exhibit the same support. As it is clients have to create an application user per external recipient, log in as the user and SSO to Sisense to the recipient available as a dashboard subscriber. In some cases, work can be reduced with an application user that represents an email distribution group instead of an account per user, but even that requires a lot of maintenance from dashboard to dashboard as their recipient lists vary so much. The best work around is using forwarding rules in users' email clients so that when they receive the dashboard subscription, it's automatically forwarded to those external recipients. However, the forwarding process is then tied to a specific user's email account which introduces risk should change need making when they're not available, or the organization. If the variability of filters and data security is the concern, then perhaps sending in the context of the owner copy is a step toward an answer without meeting the more robust needs of defining different data security for different non-user recipients of the same dashboard.
