However, any Starred Filter created will be visible to all users regardless of their Group or Parameter assignment. This is because these items are stored in the Data Browser as additional elements linked only to the data source and not to a user or group. As a result, this causes confusion, lack of control where one end users Starred Filters can be removed by another and concerns about data security. Appreciate utilising multitenancy would be a solution, however, this is not possible in all circumstances and requires a significant amount of additional administration. I am recommending a functionality change to control / limit the visibility of Starred Filters to the User or Group that created them. Re: Unlocking Filters in Widget Full Screen Mode Hi DRay The issue is now worse by virtue my users are still unable to update any filters in Full Screen view AND more recently no longer able to update the Top X widgets either. This has been the case since L2023.11.0 Add JTD functionality to Sunburst chart The Sunburst chart is a great way to view multilayered data and obtain high level values and percentages from the source. Surprisingly, this visualisation does not support Jump to Dashboard (JTD) functionality which I would like to request. The ability to drill into the data is vital and provides users with an understanding of what sits beneath the chart should they require the detail. Re: Unlocking Filters in Widget Full Screen Mode Hi DRay Thank you again and and am grateful for the advice. I have already raised this with Sisense Support who closed the case informing me that Viewer users don't have permissions to work with widget filters. Hence, adding this into the Product Feedback forum as a request / development for new versions. Re: Unlocking Filters in Widget Full Screen Mode Hi DRay Appreciate the reply. Having played with the configuration of the widget, I'd be interested to hear how you have your widget configured. In my Dashboard, if I have a standard widget with a Date Filter (e.g. Show Last 30 Days). When going Full Screen, I have no way of interacting with that Filter. If, however, I change the Filter config and use "Set as Background Filter", I have a tiny amount of control after republishing (I don't have the pencil icon, but I can click on the filter criteria but can only change a tiny amount of detail and still appears restricted). Is this the same for your Date Filters? Re: Unlocking Filters in Widget Full Screen Mode DRay When expanding to Fill Screen mode, even the Widget Filters are locked. I would expect to be able to interact with them, but I have no control. I understand why Dashboard Filters are unavailable, but don't understand why Widget filters are locked? Unlocking Filters in Widget Full Screen Mode When using Sisense as a Viewer, I would like my users to open a widget in Full Screen mode and interact with the Filters. At this moment, when opening in Full Screen, all Filters are locked, preventing the user from interacting with them. Summarise Dashboard Filter Date selection as a widget on the Dashboard Using Dashboard Filters, I can select a date range that affects multiple widgets on my Dashboard. If the Filters pane is collapsed, users have no way of referencing what date range is currently applied. Is there a way to summarise the date range selected in a Dashboard widget on the main Dashboard itself? I have considered Blox but it can only display a single date in a Carousel (scrolling left or right to see all dates included), or shows all dates, one under the other, in a list. What I'm looking for is a widget that summarizes the From and To date used in a filter as its own Dashboard widget. Email Report Format - Add Excel support For users who wish to receive their Dashboard contents using the Subscription service, Sisense supports embedded emails or PDF format only. For convenience and expedience, I would like to see support for users to receive compatible Dashboards (e.g. Pivot Tables) directly as an Excel attachment. This will help for users who wish to receive regular emails containing important data in Excel format for integration with other systems.
