As the platform has users across the globe, the timezone chosen for reporting must get aligned with the logged-in user's locale. SiSense already displays the ElastiCube's last build time in the logged-in user's timezone. In similar lines, whenever a widgets reports intra-day transactions / volumes, an option to display the data in logged in user's timezone should be made available by default in the SiSense platform.

Right now, if you're making significant changes to an existing cube, the only way to verify that you haven't broken something is to actually do a build. I'd like a Verify or Validate button, next to the Build button, that would do the initial steps of the build process and then stop. For example, determine if the metadata in the table can actually be retrieved from the underlying data source. Or checking datatype mismatches in existing joins. And so on. Just leave out the last step where you actually retrieve the full data set and then build the cube. This would save time during the development process.

Hello There, We need to create a data model with 2 different data sources . One databricks live and another one is an excel file with some additional data . We need to create a combined model so that we can join these two tables and get the result. Currently sisense does not support it and other providers like Power BI and Zoho supports this feature. This is a common use case for our scenario

Currently the Analytics screen displays available dashboards in a "list" view or a "tile" view. The "tile" view includes columns "Name", "Owner", "Data Sources", "Last Published", "Last Modified", "Total Viewers", "No. of Widgets". This is a request to add a new column "Source Folder". This would be helpful for users with a large quantity of dashboards as they could sort by the "Source Folder". In the future, the list view functionality could be expanded to allow grouping by this column which would further consolidate the view. Thank you!

We need a view that shows us which dashboards are dependent on which table in the datamodel. We want to remove some tables, but because we have many dashboards we don't know where exactly that table data is being used so it's very risky to change/delete tables. The depedency granularity of the data model is good but not enough.

It would be nice to allow a Widget to be viewed in full-screen when embed=true. If it could just fill to the size of the iframe that would be better than what it currently.

Some of our customers are being forced to upgrade Mongo, and we need to upgrade our drivers in order to match. On 2023.7 we are using driver version 1.3.11 which is not compatible with MongoDB 4.2+ and our customers mentioned they are being forced to go to MongoDB version 5 or 6.

Under an Admin Account and User Mgmt. it is not easily possible to sort the user role (ascending/decending) like it is with other columns. License utilization is one thing, but being able to easily filter roles and reassign as needed would be a huge help

Is there a way to retain formatting when exporting to Excel? We currently highlight rows in red if they meet a condition, but the formatting does not carry forward to Excel

Our primary brand colour is red with our second colour a dark blue, but if I make that the main colour (as I would like), then my buttons become red and cancel buttons need to be another colour. It makes sense for the cancel buttons to be red and I understand the concept in making buttons the same as the primary colour, but in this instance we really want to be able to change that setting and have the buttons be blue so that the cancel buttons could still be red. If I make the primary colour our brand blue then the whole site looks black and white. Suggestion: allow the button colour to vary from the main colour.

Utilising custom fonts is great to accompany branding/styling guidelines, but a lot of font platforms (such as https://fontwerk.com) don't even provide TTF files anymore and are moving to other formats such as OTF. FontShop.com also refers specifically to this and that you have to download a type, not a font collection. The FAQs from Fontwerk refer specifically to the fact that they are moving beyond TTF ... But I really need TTF, SVG, EOT, WOFF fonts! No, you really don’t. From experience, we know that this sort of requirement often stems from an old habit or in a case where the old file formats are required because of old hardware. If this is the case or if you are unable to put old habits to rest, we will of course still be happy to produce the formats on request, but for a fee. https://fontwerk.com/en/faq It would be great if Sisense could support font formats in some of the more recent formats.

Our clients always have limited inventory to sell. What they sell is constantly changing. When forecasting future results, the prediction frequently projects results beyond the saleable inventory. Our clients a neighbor indicator widget showing the maximum capacity for the given product, and then edit the forecast hardcoding the value into boundary maximum limit. However, this prevents the widget from respecting dashboard filter changes that switch between products. Instead, it would be most helpful if the boundary limitations could also be configured as calculated values from the data.

In a pivot table, I want the ability to display a certain number of values for each grouping. For example - I want to see the top 5 Cities by Population for each Country. Currently, I would need to fitler individually on each country to see that, but I want my pivot table to have all Countries and each of their 5 cities as the next level down. Currently, Sisense only lets me see 5 cities total and their corresponding country, not 5 cities per country.

It's the standard in our industry that products are on sale only for a limited time. For example, tickets being sold for an event aren't sold after the event has occurred. But there's not way to forecast future sales and prevent the forecast from predicting sales after the event has passed and no sales can possibly happen. Instead, customers have to edit every forecast that is currently predicting beyond its event date, every day, to predict only the correct number of future periods. We'd like a way to predict N future periods, but not past a point in time at which inventory is scheduled to be no longer available.

At the moment, the caching period of live models is set for the whole instance which removed flexibility where you'd want the caching period to be different for exceptionally large models. For example, we have a table we have to ingest via a live connection as it is too big for elasticubes - but wouldn't want the caching period for this live connection to be too "low" as it would cost a lot via AWS. However, we would want a low caching period for low latency reporting

When creating widgets using the day of the week as a category, the categories are sorted alphabetically by the day of the week (Friday, Mon, Sat, Sun, Thu, Tue, Wed) instead of sorting by the actual order of the days of the week (Sun-->Sat, or Mon-->Sun). Seems like an obvious, and absent, feature.

We want to be able to see certain metrics by day of the week on bar chart to detect certain patterns without adding a separate day of the week field for every date stamp into our data cube.

It would be nice to have an officially supported Events endpoint, that lists all the alerts / pulses / notifications that were sent out when an event was triggered. This allows users to create dashboards giving a quick overview of where problems occur. There already is an /events endpoint, but it is not officially supported and not listed in the APIs, so we were only able to find out about it by creating a support ticket.

At Splash we have been using report manager for email delivery of reports to external partners. These are outside partners with minimum technical skills and want CSV reports delivered with data. We ended up solving his need using report manager plugin. There are several issues with report manager plugin that we have experienced in last few months and I wanted to understand if there is a different more stable and feature rich option for us. List of issues I am tracking No way for Sisense users to see who is on the email list, other than admins. Only Admins see the report manager tab. I would like users to manage or be able to review who is getting the reports. Email delivery is limited, who gets a report to answer I need to review each job manually. Error notification is never sent to the default email or the email provided in the job setup often due to server failure Intermittent failures with report delivery due to limitation on delivery efficiency or create some retry logic, to queue emails for retry Self serve ability, without buying more licenses how do we enable external partners to have a robust reporting platform where they can self serve. Example when they login they have access to a suite of reports that are canned reports ready to download each day. No SFTP delivery mechanism All report manager jobs appear in a list view, it is very cumbersome to manage I would like to understand how else can I leverage Sisense to build feature rich reporting capability.
