Ability to hide a filter criteria from Viewers
While it is possible to Lock a filter so that users can't change it, sometimes they get confused by the presence of that filter and want to try to change it, which results in a support call to us. There could also be times when the filter criteria itself is sensitive. We should be able to right-click on a filter and choose "Hide from Viewers". This would also have the benefit of cleaning up the user interface a bit, so viewers don't have to wade through criteria that they can't control anyway.1KViews10likes6CommentsQuickly add another table from an existing connection
When editing a cube or live data source, I'd like to be able to more quickly add another table. Right now, you click on the +DATA button at the top, and get presented with all the historical connections, etc. Instead, what if you add an "Add Table" button inside the Data Sources panel?: That is, under the triple dots in red, have a new option to quickly reuse that connection and add another table. After getting another internal support call on this today (it averages one every couple of weeks): For the love of god, man, and all that is holy, please get this into the next release. Rather than email, could this be done in-app? For example, when looking at the cards of dashboards: There's no indicator that something has changed recently, unless you hover over the card. Maybe some sort of icon could be added here, to show that it was changed since the last login. Also, there's an alarm-bell in the upper right for notifications. To confirm, you mean the "Data Sources" tab, where the cubes/live data sources are listed, yes? I too have wished for it to preserve the selection (All, Recent, etc.) and sorting option. Especially since the table itself doesn't allow for right-click-open-in-new-window, which would be the workaround for the sorting to keep resetting itself.774Views0likes0CommentsRe: ability to use the same column twice in a filter
You can sort-of do this if one of the filter selections can be set as a Background filter, but then it can't be changed by the end-user.
