working with the plugin ExtenedPivotOnPDF shows the header of the Pivot only on the first page, doesn’t show starting form the second page. Please add header of table on all the pages.

I have a client that has SSO users and non-SSO users. On Sisense advice, we have created a separate tenant for the non-SSO users. We expect that those users would have all user email features of users as if SSO did not exist on the system. We are finding that the new user invitation email is not enabled for these users (among other email functions). Therefore, these users are not able to set their passwords when they are created. As a result, we are using a common password for 600+ users. This is obviously not satisfactory. Those tenant users can now log in and change their password, but we have no way to enforce that they do this as we would with an invitation email. R&D has told us this is the expected behavior (refer to case #00746676). This behavior is not working well for my client. I would like all user email features enabled for non-SSO tenants.

At the moment, you can do row filtering in a Data Model, by applying an enforced filter. This works fine in simple scenarios. In my case, I have 150 different users who each need to be able to see only their own data. So I have to add them one-by-one to the data model's "Data Security" area. Not only that, I have to do this to 10 different cubes, so this will be a lot of manual effort to set up and maintain over time as people come and go. What I'd like to be able to do is define a custom attribute on the User record, like "Location ID". I'd fill it in for that user, entering "12345" for a particular user record. That User is also a member of a group called "My Restricted Group". Then, I could go into the Data Security section, add an entry for the Location ID filter, applied to "My Restricted Group", and reference the "Location ID" number. Then the system would enforce it at runtime -- is the logged in user a member of "My Restricted Group"? If so, apply a fiter on the Location ID field, and fill it in with the value in their User profile. Then I only have to maintain the Location ID value in their user profile once, and only need to apply that Location ID filter once per cube, not 150 times per cube.

Sharing and emailing out dashboards currently have a time zone setting where a user could specify when a dashboard should be emailed out in a specific time zone. Report Manager is meant to manage dashboard emailing/schedules. It would make sense to include the same time zone setting capability available in dashboard sharing.

We would like explanations to work with Formulas. This have a few use cases that this benefit. Ideally a user can select a formula and generate a list of explanations with the data fields for the anomalies of the formula.

When you duplicate a widget in Analytics, it automatically duplicates next to your current widget. If you already have multiple widgets in that row (which you've spent time sizing to give a nice appearance on the dashboard - and they're not just distributed evenly on the row), the new widget then resizes all the previous widgets in the row so it will fit onto the row. When you then move the new widget to its own row, the widgets on the previous row have to then all be resized to get the sizes you wanted again. Some options for different experiences... Option to duplicate widget to bottom of dashboard Option to duplicate widget to "new row" which puts the new widget on its own dedicated row below the row from which it's being duplicated When a widget is duplicated on a row, and then moved out of that row, maybe the remaining widgets could redistribute back to how they were prior to the duplication

I would like to be able to run a "lineage/dependency" report in Sisense. Something that will tell me for all the cube/live data sources: - Data source name - Type (cube/live) - Dates of the data model (created, modified, last built) - Data sources being referenced and type (web service, database, etc.) - Details of each data sources (SQL Server, servername, database name) - Tables or objects being referenced by those data sources It's important for managing the environment to know what we are using, or have an easy way to know what data sets/dashboards would break if a table's structure were changed in the database.

When we access the widget data directly(Here we are fetching data from JAQL call itself and are not fetching data using CSV request to Sisense) then it shows N/A instead of a blank string(where the value is NULL). Is there any way where we can get a blank string in place of the N/A which is being shown to represent a Null value?

Dark theme doesn't effect field editor dialog (Popup) and customer wants to see similar colors as the theme Switching to Dark Theme does not change the UI for the field selection, filter selection, add new widget, change widget/visualization type Match the dark theme on all these options

When login as Admin, under ReportManager page, there is a setting button (the wheel at the top right side) that allow to customize the user UI experience. i.e. toggle in/off options : - archiving - priority - event based - csv export ... I would suggest a setting here to toggle on / off "Apply customer filters" and button "Edit Report Filters" just like the other options. Thank you

Jump to Dashboard allows us to select values within Pivot tables and show the details of the items. This is user friendly and more efficient for users. However, the feature does not work when we call the widget via Sisense.JS.

Major process changes were made on a specific date in May. We would like to be able to add a phase change line in graph to represent an event change, so we can clearly see before and after comparison.

It would be nice to have an officially supported Events endpoint, that lists all the alerts / pulses / notifications that were sent out when an event was triggered. This allows users to create dashboards giving a quick overview of where problems occur. There already is an /events endpoint, but it is not officially supported and not listed in the APIs, so we were only able to find out about it by creating a support ticket.

We would like to configure multiple data security rules on a live data source table. With the available APIs there is a constraint to set one rule at a time. Having an API that accepts a collection of multiple rules is desired for our use case since we have more that 18,000 rules to be set.

System emails like shared dashboards or report manager include links where the URL resolves to the Sisense instance. For white labeling / embedded products this doesn't work. If we had access to more variables when customizing templates we would have greater flexibility in designing workflows. Specifically if we had access to the <id> of the dashboard and instance & group level parameters this would make the messages far more customizable and useful in a variety of scenarios. Some of the other metadata as variables would also be very helpful and make emails more valuable.

Hi, I want to show in my dashboard the values of the last 12 months period. As I do not want to select the month every month manually, it should be dynamically taking always the last 12 months. So far I am using the advanced settings in the filter: { "last": { "count": 12, "offset": 0 }, "custom": true } The issue is, that my available data is not always up to date. Therefore, I want to select the last 12 months counting the offset back 2 months from the selected month in the filter. As far as I understood is that the offset counts back from the current date disregarding the filters settings. I would need something like thi: { "last": { "count": 12, "offset": 2 (counting from date selected in "sale date" filter) }, "custom": true }

For now, dimensions are displayed to the dashboard designer in the alphabetic orders of the tables / columns names. I would like the datamodel designer to have the control over sorting / grouping the dimensions. Ex : 3 tables Address Number Street City City Zip code Country Country Currently : the list of dimension will contain 3 groups: Address / City / Country The columns in each will also be sorted by alphabetic order. Expected : the datamodel designer will choose how he want these columns to be displayed, for instance, under one single group : Address Number Street Zip code City Country

Currently, when using the Usage Analytics EC you do not have the ability to audit for everything you need when it comes to what your users are downloading. Right now all we can audit for is PDF, Image, and CSV. I would like the ability to be able to audit for Excel, PPT and any download options that are made available. Management wants to know who is downloading what, but right now we can only give data for some items and only for 30 days. I would like to be able to have a larger selection of items to audit that utilize a customizable timeframe for how long to retain history for a select data point. If we are to audit for a pattern of downloads 30 days does not meet our needs. Currently, if we want to audit for more than 30 days, we would need to get the data in a format that can then be loaded into an external DB that can then be reincorporated back into an EC for reporting. This seems to be a waste of time and resources when this should be able to happen in the source system.

While there are some workarounds... * create a user on behalf of the recipient * create a user that has the email address of an email distribution list * create a forwarding rule in your email ...many of our users would like to schedule some dashboards to be sent via email with support for a pdf attachment to people who are not and will never be Sisense users in their system. Our application (we're OEM) supports this for reports in the application, and there's an expectation that dashboard emailing would exhibit the same support. As it is clients have to create an application user per external recipient, log in as the user and SSO to Sisense to the recipient available as a dashboard subscriber. In some cases, work can be reduced with an application user that represents an email distribution group instead of an account per user, but even that requires a lot of maintenance from dashboard to dashboard as their recipient lists vary so much. The best work around is using forwarding rules in users' email clients so that when they receive the dashboard subscription, it's automatically forwarded to those external recipients. However, the forwarding process is then tied to a specific user's email account which introduces risk should change need making when they're not available, or the organization. If the variability of filters and data security is the concern, then perhaps sending in the context of the owner copy is a step toward an answer without meeting the more robust needs of defining different data security for different non-user recipients of the same dashboard.

At Splash we have been using report manager for email delivery of reports to external partners. These are outside partners with minimum technical skills and want CSV reports delivered with data. We ended up solving his need using report manager plugin. There are several issues with report manager plugin that we have experienced in last few months and I wanted to understand if there is a different more stable and feature rich option for us. List of issues I am tracking No way for Sisense users to see who is on the email list, other than admins. Only Admins see the report manager tab. I would like users to manage or be able to review who is getting the reports. Email delivery is limited, who gets a report to answer I need to review each job manually. Error notification is never sent to the default email or the email provided in the job setup often due to server failure Intermittent failures with report delivery due to limitation on delivery efficiency or create some retry logic, to queue emails for retry Self serve ability, without buying more licenses how do we enable external partners to have a robust reporting platform where they can self serve. Example when they login they have access to a suite of reports that are canned reports ready to download each day. No SFTP delivery mechanism All report manager jobs appear in a list view, it is very cumbersome to manage I would like to understand how else can I leverage Sisense to build feature rich reporting capability.
