With the "Jump to Dashboard" add-on installed & the "suppress _drill_" dashboard parameter configured, SiSense hides the _drill_ dashboards from everyone except the owner (which includes the sisenseadmin account).   As a result, it is hard for the administrator to view and/or manage _drill_ dashboards that are owned by a designer.   There is a workaround via F12 that SiSense showed me, but it's not intuitive.   It would be nice if there was a parameter to allow the sisenseadmin to always have the ability to see/edit the _drill_ dashboards (or perhaps that should be the default behavior). ... At Splash we have been using report manager for email delivery of reports to external partners. These are outside partners with minimum technical skills and want CSV reports delivered with data. We ended up solving his need using report manager plugin. There are several issues with report manager plugin that we have experienced in last few months and I wanted to understand if there is a different more stable and feature rich option for us. List of issues I am tracking No way for Sisense users to see who is on the email list, other than admins. Only Admins see the report manager tab. I would like users to manage or be able to review who is getting the reports. Email delivery is limited, who gets a report to answer I need to review each job manually. Error notification is never sent to the default email or the email provided in the job setup often due to server failure Intermittent failures with report delivery due to limitation on delivery efficiency or create some retry logic, to queue emails for retry Self serve ability, without buying more licenses how do we enable external partners to have a robust reporting platform where they can self serve. Example when they login they have access to a suite of reports that are canned reports ready to download each day. No SFTP delivery mechanism All report manager jobs appear in a list view, it is very cumbersome to manage I would like to understand how else can I leverage Sisense to build feature rich reporting capability. A while back the JTD didn't pick up measured values properly and we configured our dashboards so that the measured value filters were not relevant to the jump. We have some situations where there are conflicting filters with-in the measure (e.g. comparing different things as a numerator and denominator). Can you add a widget config option to ignore measured value filters? It would require adding an item in config and then adding an if statement to the filtersHelperService.js in the getMeasuredValueFilters like if(config.ignoreMeasureFilter) return [] ; around line 560. Sharing and emailing out dashboards currently have a time zone setting where a user could specify when a dashboard should be emailed out in a specific time zone. When login as Admin, under ReportManager page, there is a setting button (the wheel at the top right side) that allow to customize the user UI experience. i.e. toggle in/off options : - archiving - priority - event based - csv export ... When the sisense user is deleted the email of this user is still in the recipients list for a report in the Report Manager. If the report Manager is configured to send the reports to external customers, the user who is no longer with the company will be receiving the reports with dashboard data as the reports for the external users are generated using the owner or an additional user. Hi, I have issue with setting two date dimensions in dashboard. The goal I want to achieve is to have a history of records, which are also have it's own date dimension. You can download model and dashboard. I would like to have difference in growth ower selected period for defined dates. For example 2 days ago I sold a car for 1000, and yesterday the proce have changed to 1500. The sale date is for today. So the growth over 2 days is 1500, and for 1 day 500. Additionally i would like to compare those values to previous year, and go back with both date dimensions. Tricky part is also, that if there is not sale for this year, PastYear() wont count prior year. I tried to play around with filtered measure plugin, however it doesn't give me exactly what i want. I have a drill-down dashboard that uses two datasources: one that matches my parent dashboard, and one that shows more granular information. When we send more than one Combined Excel Report while using a dashboard having different filters on it. Names of those combined Excel sheet we get from them is same as they were using same dashboard for creating a report, which is difficult to identify when downloaded simultaneously. With the Sisense Report Manager add-on, we need the ability for a Viewer to create AND modify a report schedule that has been shared with them. Example: Jack (Designer) shared a report with Jill (Viewer) to monitor the health of her building assets. Jill would like to get a snapshot of this report emailed to her every month; however, she must manually communicate with Jack for him to create this report schedule on her behalf. Jill would like to create the report schedule herself.  Jack created the report schedule to be sent to Jill every month. After three months of this, Jill prefers the report schedule to be sent out on a weekly basis. She must manually communicate with Jack for him to modify this report schedule on her behalf. Jill would like to modify the report schedule herself.  Now multiply Jill by thousands of customers for our specific business use case... This will quickly become unsustainable for us.
