Include last cube build date/timestamp in subscribed dashboards

Suggestion for improving subscribed dashboards: Include the date/time of the last cube build in subscribed dashboard emails. Currently, we see the date/time per the settings configured in the subscription. We'd like to also see the date/time that shows when the data was pulled, or the "as-of". If there is a discrepancy in data, or if/when we need to trace back and review platform data changes, or if changes are made after the subscribed reports that may be important to call out to shared dashboard subscription recipients. Thank you!

In Sisense, under the Data tab, there’s a queries tool that displays information such as a cube’s title, size, and status. However, creating a query does not update the page URL, so you cannot use your browser’s back and forward buttons to navigate to it. Omer London BigPanda

We'd like to be able to annotate our bld pods using the helm provisioner. Annotation we're wanting to apply: karpenter.sh/do-not-disrupt: "true" Per Sisense support: "If we are discussing the -bld- pods, it’s important to note that their configuration cannot be overridden manually. These pods are dynamically generated by the Management service, and the logic for their creation and configuration is embedded within the Management service code. As such, direct modifications to their configuration are not supported."

Currently, when we select the option to highlight in a widget data is, nevertheless, usually sliced in other widgets using different categories. Imagine we have three bar charts and a table, all of which are marked as HIGHLIGHT. Each widget and table contains a different category, this is the relevant part. I would like to be able to select a category in one of the widgets and be able to see all elements in the other widgets, but just highlighted. Currently, since these are different categories than the one selected, they are sliced. In attached image, I am selecting a category in the second widget but all the other widgets display sliced data, despite having selected highlight.

Allow disable user accounts in Sisense, but we can only currently able delete users. Our use case involves keeping users in the system without utilizing a license.

Support indicates that starting with version 1.11.25, a toggle was introduced to enable the sending of empty Excel files when using the Report Manager. Please implement the same feature with other file types. At the moment I am using CSV.

Jump To Dashboard add-in It lists dashboards with the _drill_ prefix. It lists only dashboards using the same datasource. I have a drill-down dashboard that uses two datasources: one that matches my parent dashboard, and one that shows more granular information. I'd like this drill-down dashboard to appear on the JTD list. I think the JTD list should show any dashboards that share at least one datasource with the parent.

There is no option to modify table columns width in notebook results. This means that if I query a dataset of accessed URLs, where the end of the line matters most I cannot see anything beyond the domain name. Optional workarounds are hovering row by row or exporting all results to CSV. Both are cumbersome. Modifying columns width seems to be a common notebook functionality in similar solutions, so it would be nice if Sisense could support this as well.

In my datamodel, I want to delete 10 tables with names ending with "MySpecialSuffix". So, I go to datamodel list view and search for "MySpecialSuffix". I click delete on the first table. But then it loses my filter. So I have to re-type my filter for each table I want to delete.

When we send more than one Combined Excel Report while using a dashboard having different filters on it. Names of those combined Excel sheet we get from them is same as they were using same dashboard for creating a report, which is difficult to identify when downloaded simultaneously. Can we base the name of excel sheet on Report Name itself rather than dashboard name as it will be more convenient. Thanks, Animesh Gupta

Create a pivot widget of RSUM( [Total Quantity] ) over time (rows) and break by (columns) age range. Scanning down each column, over rows, the numbers only increase. Now change it to a line widget. The break by defaults from an RSUM within columns in the pivot to an RSUM within rows in the line chart. This is the same as not having an RSUM and doing a stacked area. Our clients expect the line chart the results from changing the pivot to a line chart, to reflect the same output as the source pivot. As it stands now, they are surprised to see negative curvature in their RSUM, think something is broken, and open a support ticket. The default behavior should be to render Break by Columns instead of Rows. As an aside, I'm having trouble coming up with, and would be interested in hearing, use cases for charts with break by set to rows.

The content/formatting/text contained in the various Sisense-generated/automated emails is currently static. I went through a long dialog with support and determined that it's not customizable by customers. I would like it if we could modify these emails, and I'd especially like to have access to dynamic variables that we can insert in the email body (or subject). User's first name or last name were specific for my use case, but having access to a variety of variable could be helpful.

When creating a new table in an Elasticube, the area to write code into takes up a fraction of the screen space. Please make the pop-up to write code for tables stretch across the whole screen so users can see more lines of code at once. Or make the pop-up window adjustable so we can move it to be as big as we like.

Please enable the possibility of selecting a default CSI (storage class interface) from a set of existing CSIs so that it may be used as default Sisense persistent storage option. This is is a necessary feature for persistence of storage in cases such as autonomous cluster scaling or rebalancing, as well as disaster recovery.

Some end-users have several environments where they must provision Sisense and they strive to standardize and automate the processes as much as possible for efficiency. It would be great to be able to extend standardization and potential automation of configuration to the Helm Chart level: Please include some ways to enable feature or disable feature with the helm chart so that if we want to enable file management everywhere we could provide a value to all our helm charts so we can have uniform configuration.

Please add the ability to control widget zoom level via the Highcharts Navigator legend with the mouse wheel on Bar Chart type widgets via an option that can be enabled optionally. This would be similar to how map zoom can be controlled via the mouse wheel.

Currently a user can only have access to one tenant at a time. In my organisation we are only able to log into Sisense with an AD account, so users can only have one login each. All of our reporting and elasticubes are currently on the one original System tenant. I need to set up a second tenant to hold some highly confidential elasticubes and then be able to grant access to this tenant to a select few users, but with them still retaining access to the original system tenant. The current setup means these users would lose access to all of their other dashboards on the original tenant.

When I'm editing or creating a new chart in SQL (chart being part of a bigger dashboard), I often find myself having to go in and out to change filters, or to just hardcoding values than later I have to change because inside the Edit Charts page I have no option of updating the filters. It would be great if there was a way of updating them inside that page. For example, imagine I'm creating a new chart page that requires a long query. I want to set it up so that it accepts certain filters. Good so far. Now imagine on the general dashboard the filter has "All dates" selected (just as an example). Then my query will take forever to run, and maybe, since I'm developing the query it would be nice for me to just select a smaller date range. There are more complex examples where the need of this becomes more clear. Imagine my query has multiple with clauses and/or joins with extra filters, etc... and I want everything to stay consistent. Then, if I have to go out and edit the filter, it might take a while for the dashboard to get all the data. For me, the ideal scenario would be to have a filter (e.g same as the dashboard where a chart is embedded on, or just based on the [name=value] attributes in the query) that is displayed in the edit area itself, so that I can select my parameters easily without having to hardcode those values only to remember to re-enable them again later, and I don't have to go in and out the chart to change the filters either. This feature would save me a lot of time and annoyance. Let me know if you need more real-world examples. But I found myself annoyed by this more than once. I think you have a great product, but it can be even better.
