This article will explain how to add a Candlestick chart to your Sisense instance.
The Candlestick chart is a style of financial chart used in technical analysis in order to describe price movements of a security, derivative, or currency. The size of the line is determined by the high and low values, which the size of the bar is determined by the open and close values. The bar is colored if the price closed lower than the previous period.
How to Install and Configure the Candlestick Chart:
Step 1:
Download the attachment and unzip the contents into your C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\plugins\ folder. If the plugins folder doesn't exist, just create it. After those files have been unzipped there, you may also have to restart the web server. Now, when you create a new widget the Candlestick chart should show up in the list of options.
Step 2:
Add the appropriate data points for the Candlestick to render.
Time: A Date-Time field set to Days
Open, High, Low, Close: Integer values of the price
