Jump to Dashboard - Date filter is added twice

I'm using the Jump to Dashboard plugin and am seeing an issue where one of the filters is appearing twice in the drill down dashboard.  

The drill down dashboard does not have a date filter on it to begin with.  The parent dashboard does have a date field being used.  When I click a field in the parent dashboard to drill into the drill down dashboard, the drill down has the date filter added twice, causing a query error.  One of the date filters is including all date (shouldn't it filter to the date associated with the item I selected in parent dashboard?), the other date filter is a custom filter with "members": null.

I know the config file can exclude/include specific fields, but I don't think this should be necessary - we want the date filter to populate on the drilled down dashboard, just not twice.
