Using a dashboard multi-tenant?

We are using Sisense to provide dashboards to our clients. In order to keep the security relatively simple, the idea is that each client would have their own cube/live data source. All sources will have the same schema.

The idea is that we could design a dashboard once, and the easily replace all of the data sources with the clients.

This doesnt seem to be that easy, as it seems like once you have a dashbord built, there is not an easy way to replace datasources without reconfiguring every widget.

How are others handling multi tenancy and having templates for dashboards?

Hi @bpeikes

We are in a similar situation and although in our case we have multi-tenant cubes, we do have good experiences with the Dynamic Elasticubes plugin (https://www.sisense.com/marketplace/dynamic-elasticubes/) .

This plugin makes it possible to define the EC based on the group and automatically change it when the user opens the dashboard

HI,

We could able to achieve this when we maintain some table & Column names or the same schema across tenants.
