Per-User default filters cleared by dashboard refresh
Currently if a dashboard is refreshed, every user's default filters are wiped. This causes a lot of disruption to our users in production. Default filters should: 1. Be user specific 2. Persist across dashboard refreshes. Value: 1. Improves Sisense's ability to have 1 central dashboard to serve diverse users 2. Removes the need for a dashboard designer to set data model permissions to achieve the same thing
Seing cubes that are shared in the Group screen
Hi, Under Admin / User Management / Groups, we can edit a group. In the window that contains the details of a group, we can see / add / remove users associated with the group. I would like to have the same fetaure with the cubes that are shared with that group. So it would become possible, in the same groupd etail windows for a given group to see / add / remove shared cubes. Thanks you and kind regards, Franck
Grafana Monitoring via Mobile App
As an administrator for Linux Sisense Fusion, Grafana is essential by allowing to monitor the environment's performance. Grafana has a mobile app, yet there is no way to integrate Sisense's Grafana to it after confirming with Sisense's support. It would be nice if there is such an integration that will enable us to monitor the performance via a mobile app.Metadata-Translations plugin to be able to translate text in Blox and Tabber widgets
Sisense´s metadata-translations plugin currently supports the translation of texts used in the different types of widgets. This is not the case for Blox and Tabber elements. If you use translations of the dashboards to different languages, it is essential that ALL elements are translated. Therefore, it would be great to have all texts in all widget types to be translated using this plug-in.
Include Ticket/Case title in Support Survey Feedback email
"Reminder: Your Feedback is Important!" However, it's really hard to know which of my support tickets I'm rating. Tickets are sometimes closed hours or days after I comment that they're resolved. Other times they're closed without my saying so. I don't want to rate the assistance I received based on the wrong ticket. The Sisense Case number is provided at the end of the email, however, given that it's a time-consuming experience to visit and interact with the Support Portal: Allow opening support cases in a new tab - Sisense Community And assuming Support Portal performance is a big challenge, maybe providing the support case title in the survey is more achievable.Multitenantcy are very unusable
Hi, Related about multitenants, we are unable to: - Execute Custom Code in an EC inside a Tenant - Acces the file system from an EC in a tenant so refer with BloX to assets is a nightmare (image icons etc.). - GIT - Look&Feel And more There are other kind of limitations that makes the multi tenancy a nightmare. If you are going to continue providing this feature to customers, we expect to add functions you make it usable to end user. Best
WAT and ACL Security Model - Default to no access
We have found that if an ACL in a WAT does not match the Elasticube table/column security field, it defaults to providing 'all data'. To avoid a potential human error where a table/column has been renamed, we would like the default position to be 'nothing'.Quick way to update SSL certificate
It would have been great if there was a quicker way to update the SSL certificates on the Sisense server without having to run the update install. There are clients who do not wish to provide internet connection on the server once Sisense install is complete. As I understand it, if Sisense was installed with internet connection on, then we need to have internet connection in order to re-run the installer successfully. So we will have to make a request to the client to provide internet connection again to run the update install. It would have been good if there was an alternative way to update the SSL certificate.
Preview table column in query builder
It would very helpful to be able to see the columns of a table in the Table Query section of the MySQL query build. Currently it just list the tables and you have to open another table then preview the table and scroll sideways to see the available column. You could create this in a tree view like SQL Sever does. This would help query writers by being able to see what columns belong to the tables, I included what SQL Server does for reference.
Global ElastiCube Builds Schedule Report
Currently there’s no way on the Sisense UI to have an overview of when the next ElastiCube Builds are set for. Having such info available would make it possible to easily select relevant time slots to run load testing scripts for instance, but also more broadly to help understand and finetune the current Builds orchestration. In order to do so, we would like for admin roles to have access to a single table-like page that would list all the Builds scheduled in the next 24 hours with the following columns: ElastiCube name Build start date Build theoretical end date* Last successful Build duration * Build theoretical end date = Build start date + Last successful Build duration * (or NULL in the rare event where the Build has never succeeded before) Additional features: CSV Export Sort option on column headers Pagination Note: a single Elasticube can have more than one entry (in the example below, we assume the admin user opens the page at 3:00 PM and the ElastiCube_B's Build is launched every 2 hours).
