Download: Bullet Chart
Introduction
This article explains how to import a bullet chart plugin into Sisense.
The bullet chart plugin support column charts and bar charts. The plugin supports version 5.8 and up.
Bullet chart is used to compare the data according to specific predefined values.
For example: actual cost vs. budget, revenues vs. target.
You can break the bullet chart up to 3 colors (values).
The black line represents the actual measure value and the colors are the bullet chart predefined values.
Steps
The following steps will walk through the process of adding the new plugin and creating a sample chart as bullet chart.

STEP 1 - ADD THE PLUGIN

Download the attachment and unzip the contents into your C:\Program Files\Sisense\PrismWeb\plugins\ folder. If you are using version 7.2 and higher unzip the contents into your C:\Program Files\Sisense\app\plugins\ folder. If the plugins folder doesn't exist, please create it. After unzipping the file, please restart the web server.
Once you create a new bar/column chart widget, it will have additional options to set it as bullet chart.

STEP 2 - CREATE THE CHART

On your dashboard, click the Create Widget button and select Advanced Configuration. Next, select the Bar/Column Chart from the chart types menu.
Pick a dimension to use as the category, then pick 1 or more measures for the values.
Now that the chart has data values, click on the "coloring" icon on one of the measures items.
Inside the coloring popup, choose the "Bullet Range" tab:

STEP 3 - SET BULLET CHART COLORING

  1. Minimum value: Set an end point and a color to the minimum range
  2. Middle range : Set an end point and a color to the middle range.
  3. Maximum range : Set an end point and a color to the maximum range
  4. Set a color to the measure.
  5. Click the OK button
