Notebooks Product Roadmap

Notebooks brings the code-first approach to analytics pioneered by CDT to the Sisense Fusion platform. 

We started with multi-cell SQL-based analysis and charting, but that’s just the beginning - find out about how Sisense is upgrading your favorite Periscope Data technology - including Python and R support, materialization, and GIT integration - with more capabilities, more horsepower, and better usability in forthcoming releases of Sisense Fusion.

    Yes, notebooks is currently available to Sisense Cloud Managed Services customers as a beta.  Currently SQL is supported and we look to add support for Python and R in the near future. Reach out to your CSM to enable this functionality.

    Bobin Notebooks went full GA with our 2021.12 release 🎉 You will need to update to the recent version in order to use Python. However, with any version between 2021.7 and 2021.11, Notebooks is still available, but will only include SQL. If you haven't already been able to access it, you can ask your Admin to enable it under Admin Tab > Feature Management.

    Hi, I do not see any feature enablement options for Notebooks and I am an admin. Please advise

    Bobin Happy to help! So it looks like you don't have a signed Data Processing Agreement on file with us. Because Notebooks is a cloud service, we require a signed DPA, and then Notebooks will appear under Feature Management. Reach out to your CSM, and then can help you through the process.
