Customer Support updated our Sisense Cloud instances with the Add-On Plugin for resizing. It solves the issue. Glad to hear it will be an official part of the app on a go-forward basis. Regards, Jim Resizing Sisense's Interactive Pivot dropdown menu Is there a way to increase the horizontal dimension of the dropdown menu for Sisense's Interactive Pivot Add-on? There are several metrics in the grocery space that are similar in nature, but highoight very different performance aspects of a business. Additionally, the time period over which a metric is calculated is important. For example, "# Cases / Store Shipped / Week (12wk)" vs "# Units / POD Sales / Week (4wk)". Even with acronyms, the dropdown menu for the Interactive Pivot add-on is too short to allow for the metric labels to fully appear. The attached image provides an example of the issue. Insights on if resizing is possible, and how, will be appreciated. Regards, Jim SolvedRe: Column chart with full range x-axis Hello TriAnthony , I was able to upload the file you sent over, and it worked. Thank you for assisting in getting this resolved. In the near future, I"ll look at making adjustments to support another scenario for which there are two/three values but no Break By field. The primary example is how we use numeric calendar week to compare this year's performance to last year's performance during the same calendar week (see attached). Any advance insight you can provide as to whether this scenario can/can't be supported with this approach? Also, we're considering switching the numeric week along the x-axis for some widgets into the week ending date (ex. every Sunday, 2025-01-05...2025-09-14...2025-12-28) since it's easier for our customers to relate time of year to specific events/holidays that occurred. Can this approach work with dates as well? Regards, Jim Re: Column chart with full range x-axis Hello TriAnthony , Thank you for sending over this Notebook. It looks like it will be the solution. Unfortunately, the Sisense cloud app won't let me upload it even though I changed it from .txt to .ipynb (I even tried .sipynb, and that didn't work). I made the Import Notebook attempts from a Mac desktop and Mac laptop, and tried both dragging the file over and looking it up via Browse (Browse did not recognize it as a valid file for upload). Thoughts on what be preventing this or if there's another attempt that will work? I'm okay if you email it to me if passing it thru the Community might be the issue. Regards, Jim Re: Column chart with full range x-axis Hello DRay - I saw this post earlier, and it doesn't appear to solve my question. From my perspective, the post appears to focus on manipulating existing x values, but not inserting new ones. Let me know if you feel one of the steps mentioned might be applicable. Referencing my original screenshot, I'd like to see values 0 through 3 added at the start of the x-axis, and to have any skips filled in (ex. 15 to 18 should include 16 and 17). The challenge here may be that the x-axis is numeric since it represents # Of Weeks Of Inventory remaining. Regards, Jim Column chart with full range x-axis I'd like to create a column chart for which the x-axis always has values from 0 to 52 in increments of 1. The purpose of the chart is to show how many weeks of inventory remains at each distribution center. The x-axis represents the number of weeks of inventory remaining, and the y-axis is the number of distribution centers. I'd like to understand if a solution can be applied within the dashboard widget instead of the Elasticube. Since a Viewer can use the dashboard filters to select different item types instead of all items, generating 0 values in the Elasticube would cause a considerable amount of unnecessary data to be generated. The attachment shows the current chart, which DOES NOT force all values from 0-52, and thus is visually misleading. Regards, Jim SolvedRe: Generating a HAR file for troubleshooting Sisense I'll generate the file. Allow Grand Totals to not be displayed for certain columns Allow widget designers to turn off the display of the Grand Totals calculation for certain columns in a pivot table. Situations exist for which it is highly beneficial to display the Grand Total of a select few columns in a pivot table, and not to show others as they can be misleading or distract from the primary purpose of the pivot table. I envision an implementation that enables the Grand Total to be toggled on/off for each column, with the default being 'on' for all columns. Enable color conditions to be displayed in Grand Totals As a standard offering, enable color conditions to also be displayed in the Grand Totals columns/rows. The coloring should also carry through to Excel or pdf downloads, the same for the rest of the pivot table. Current custom script solutions are at risk of breaking with future version updates, and the Grand Totals colors do not carry through to Excel and pdf downloads.
