Ability to hide a filter criteria from Viewers

While it is possible to Lock a filter so that users can't change it, sometimes they get confused by the presence of that filter and want to try to change it, which results in a support call to us.  There could also be times when the filter criteria itself is sensitive.

We should be able to right-click on a filter and choose "Hide from Viewers".

This would also have the benefit of cleaning up the user interface a bit, so viewers don't have to wade through criteria that they can't control anyway.

  • There are some dashboards where we don't want people messing with the filters.  Or where filters aren't needed to be changed, and we want the maximum "real estate" available for the body of the dashboard.

I know you can hide the left- and right-hand panes with script, but this really should be an option exposed in the dashboard designer UI, as a setting for that dashboard.

    Example:

Filter Pane:  Show [default]; Collapsed [but user can expand]; Hidden [user can't expand it]

You can also individually lock all the filters, so that even if a user expands/can expand the filter pane, they still can't change the filters.
