In dashboard filters we currently cannot add custom tool tip to filters. While using the dashboard, it will be helpful to add some tool tip description to the filter which may pop up by hovering around it or through some information icon. Creating security rules within the Data Security menu for Elasticubes only allows you to assign users access to values to that are already in your data. If I am creating a rules for user visibility of e.g. individual 'store references' and a new store with reference '1414' is added, I can't create a rule for store 1414 unless it is already in my data. Could there be an option to manually specify the value, rather than having to select a pre-existing value? Today, we can use plugins, dashboard and widget scripts to customize dashboard and widgets for scheduled emails as well as desktop. Same should be available for Pulse scripts which allow to modification of alert JAQL on the desktop, but the same script is not executed when sending alerts/notifications. When a Sisense server's IP address changes, you have to reinstall Sisense. I want a script or button that changes all the relevant settings. We need it because we're planning changes to our network. There are other reasons that an IP address might need to change, e.g. I might restore from a system image backup to a different location, or I might start a new server and, after testing, want to redirect my old server's IP address to it. Currently, dynamic/parameterized datasets are not supported in BigQuery connections. I've been trailing the Report Manager add-on and was disappointed to see that the 'Event Based' option for triggering reports did not allow for Pulse Alerts to be used as an Event. It seems the current workaround is to use a tool like Zapier (so the pulse goes out to Zapier via webhook, which then creates the Event and goes back into Sisense, causing the report to be sent. This seems convoluted and I would have thought being able to directly integrate Pulses to trigger Reports seems like a natural fit. ... View more

Hi, There are many widget types that are part of the core of an analytical solution. Examples like Tabber, Jump to Dashboard, Accordion... are tools that the business users find very powerful and gives Sisense the fleixbility in the visualization that put the platform in the road to copete with powerful visualization tools like Tableau. But, the profile of most of designers are business analyst or business users. To use and to configure properly this kind of visualizations, makes them to enter in a Javascript world, that it's very confusing and dirty. It makes that the promise of "self service" is not to close. I would like to see some improvements regarding the pivot table in Sisense: Measures as rows Right now, when you add multiple measures to the pivot table they are automatically added as an extra column. Every major player in the BI business allows for measures to be added as rows, I would like Sisense to do so as well Expandable dimensions (could be used for almost every widget type) Let's say I have a pivot table showing revenues with categories as rows and years as columns. Ideally, I would like these to be expandable, i.e. if I click on the + icon for years, it should show me the quarters, months and so on. This could also be implemented for line, bar and column charts.  For categories e.g. I would like to expand to sub-categories. We produce pre-built dashboards for our customers.  They can build their own as well.  Often, they will start with one of our pre-built dashboards and modify to their needs. Add the ability to programmatically export a Widget with specific filters and/or to export it as a certain user using the /dashboard/{id}/widgets{id}/ endpoint. User Story#1 As an admin I want to make api calls to the widget pdf export endpoint and include userid and custom filters so that I can download an export on behalf of another user in the system and specify the filters  Acceptance Criteria I can pass 2 properties to the export endpoint: User Id and filters Both parameters are optional and can be used separately from each other If a user Id parameter is provided, the Widget is exported on behalf of the provided user including the current filters applied and data security rules. If a custom filters parameter is provided, the Widget is exported with the custom filters. Currently, any report having a table widget is missing IDs in<td> and <tr> elements of the <table>. We are writing automation testing scripts for which we need to have unique ids for each cell. Hi, Working on a dashboard containing 3 pivot tables. Each have a lot of columns. (see print screen attached). In order to have a proper PDF, I need to turn the page format to A0 / landscape When exporting to PDF at the Dashboard level (from the pdf button top right), I access to a PDF setup, where I can choose the layout (landscape) and the paper format (A0), so that all the columns appears properly. In this screen, there is a Save button so that the PDF setup is saved for next time (see print screen) When exporting to pdf at a widget level, the same setup otions are available (landscape and A0), BUT THERE IS NO SAVE BUTTON. I have to redo this setup each time (see print screen). Could we have the the Save button on the widget / PDF option page, same as we have ar the dashboard / pdf option page please ? Thank you ... This is a request to enhance this feature in community thread of the same title. This is useful because it allows users to see all the available dimension for a particular list of filters even if there are no facts for it. I understand that we can also use this community thread; however, this is only limited to 1 dimension. However, right now, it does not work when [Columns] field are added into pivot table. When the sisense user is deleted the email of this user is still in the recipients list for a report in the Report Manager. If the report Manager is configured to send the reports to external customers, the user who is no longer with the company will be receiving the reports with dashboard data as the reports for the external users are generated using the owner or an additional user. Upon receiving the warning "Maximum number of series (50) exceeded", the warning does not reappear with a widget, dashboard, or page refresh. Instead, a filter change is required in order to trigger it again. IMO the warning should persist with refreshes and be visible every time due to the impact of the limitation being exceed - data is literally missing from the widget and the widget does not reflect the data set expected by the user.  To that end of being clear about the impact of having more series than the limitation allows, the warning would be best reworded to indicate that impact and avoid users making decisions on an uncontrolled subset of data. For example, "Results limited to maximum number of series (50)..." or "Data limited..." This limitation should also be documented in Sisense documentation, but is not currently. ... View more

Can we get a "refresh schema for all tables" button? Reason: Our tables are usually "Select * From AnalyticsSchema.ViewName". We control which fields to return by editing the view, not the Sisense table definition. When a field gets added/removed/changed, we need to refresh schema. That's fine to do manually as you're working on that datamodel+views, but we need to refresh all when: We copy a datamodel to a different server. We need to refresh schema at least to double-check that the views are as expected on the new server. (If any fields have changed, then I'll need to go fix any widgets using those fields, or, more likely, update the view to include them.) A view gets edited, perhaps for a different datamodel, and my datamodel hasn't been updated.  I edit several views and want to refresh schema for all those Sisense tables. If I've changed used fields then I'll need to go into each table manually anyway so it doesn't matter, but I've had a case where I've removed unused fields from several views and now I need to click refresh schema on every table individually. ... When we are building pivot tables, sometimes there is a need to sort things by the columns. If I want to show a pivot table with a Team Lead as the rows, Total Spend and Total Volume as the values, and Weeks as the the columns, I have no way to sort this to show the date in descending order and keep the table structure the way I want to see it. This is an "add on" request to this product request. Our customers need to be able to filter on datetime columns using a combination of both the date and the time.
