While editing/viewing a cube data source, you can view the logs of the last build, but can't easily see the overall history of builds for that one cube. Within dashboards, the only way to know currently if there is a filter on a widget is to open that widget. This is VERY time consuming if there are multiple widgets within a dashboard (we sometimes have up to 10). Please add an icon at the top of widgets (near the pencil would be great). If the icon is grey, no widget level filter is set. If the icon is colored in, a filter is set. If a filter is set, mousing over the icon should return a preview of what the filter is. ... View more

We have a custom webhook mechanism to alert us for cube build failures. We created a single alert selecting all our cubes and adding the webhook link Given build alerts are owned only by a single person.  Ownership transfer of these is helpful when people move out of the team and new person comes in, If not,the alerts created for team will need to be re-created. Every day we process our elasticubes and they always process in the same sequence.  Users are able to create dashboards that have widgets from different elasticubes.  However when they select to send the dashboard by email on "Every Elasticube Update" this sends after the first of the elasticubes has processed, rather than waiting until all of them have updated.  This means users are emailed dashboards that have some data correct, and some that is old. I think the solution would be an option to send after all of the elasticubes in the dashboard have updated, or to select a specific one, if the elasticubes generally build in a particular order. It would be good if this could be considered for enhancement as users wouldn't want to receive partially correct dashboards in this situation. Thanks, James ... View more

There needs to be a way to deactivate user accounts rather than completing removing. We have users that will no longer have access to the system, but could come back later (for example, trail users). The workarounds are currently: reassigning security groups (means those users are still taking up licenses) writing our own user admin functionality (only makes sense if we are integrating users to another platform) Adding a 'Status' or 'Disabled' flag to the user account would accomplish this. ... This idea aims to help on-premises installations or live connections to better control load. The scenario: we have a big amount of users using the Report Manager plug-in, and we cannot limit the number of reports they can create or even the minimum periodicity for their schedules. Currently any user will be able to create a big number of reports, and those reports in a worst case scenario could be sent every hour. It could case a high usage of server resources. It is possible to setup the number of concurrent reports that will be processed, but depending on the number of reports it could cause bottlenecks and big deliver delays. The idea: adding some new 'admin' settings to Report Manager plug-in: - Maximum number of reports per user: defines the maximum number of reports a unique user can create. We could use 0 for unlimited (current behavior). - Maximum number of reports per user group: defines the maximum number of reports a user group can create. Same ideia as the above, but related to user groups. It could be a unique setting for any user group, or maybe a map with specific limits for each user group. - Minimum periodicity for scheduling: currently Report Manager offers the hours, days, week and months options. For instance, if this setting is set to days, then users will not be able to select hours when creating new schedules. Current existing schedules could be kept. ... View more

The email schedules have a limitation when the file used in attachment is large in size. Most email servers have a 25mb max limit.  It would be really helpful, if there was an option to include a downloadable link in the email. When a user schedules an email, with the link option, the attachment is downloaded to a temporary path and the link to that path is provided in the email. Clicking on the link should download the file from the temporary path which can be an s3 bucket or from some server. We can keep a retention policy of few days for the files. ... View more

As an admin, have an option at the top of a dashboard to be able to view it as another specific user.  For example, if user John Smith is set under the data security on a cube to only have access to rows for a certain region, the ability to view a dashboard as John Smith would make checking user access very easy. ... Sisense does not currently offer the ability to easily freeze the top row of a pivot table, similar to what most spreadsheet applications offer. Prior community questions on this topic (such as https://community.sisense.com/t5/build-analytics/freezing-the-header-row-for-a-pivot-table/td-p/3022) advise a workaround by manually disabling the Auto Height feature for the pivot table widget, then reducing the height of the pivot table until a widget-level scroll bar appears.  This solution only works for a very specific use case, and losing the ability for the widget to dynamically resize when populated with different sizes of datasets and/or when applying dashboard-level filters makes it less tenable. For example, if a widget is manually resized so that the header is visible when scrolling for 50+ rows of data, the widget will stay the same height if a filter is applied that reduces the dataset to 15 rows. We'd like to see if there is a way to easily freeze the header row of a pivot table while preserving the ability for the widget to automatically resize based on the amount of data. SiSense already displays the ElastiCube's last build time in the logged-in user's timezone. Hi, Whenever an user with owner access is deleted, all the dasboard created by him are getting deleted. Also, those dashboards shared with others are also deleted. This looks like a critical issue, since the dashboard will be shared among other users, they won't be able to see any dashboard if the user gets deleted.
