Some of our customers are being forced to upgrade Mongo, and we need to upgrade our drivers in order to match. On 2023.7 we are using driver version 1.3.11 which is not compatible with MongoDB 4.2+ and our customers mentioned they are being forced to go to MongoDB version 5 or 6. ... View more

Folders and Dashboards are only permitted to have 1 owner, this has been the case with Sisense since we first started using it 6 years ago.  The time has really come to allow multiple owners of Dashboards and Folders.  We have around 70 Designers who use our Sisense instance and being able to swap work, work jointly, used shared structures etc. adds a huge amount of time, inconvenience and frustration.  The request here is to allow multiple owners of Folders and Dashboards so that Designers can collaborate more effectively, the flexibility of such work would greatly reduce the time to deployment. ... Perspectives is a great addition to the application and making only certain parts of the model visible to those dashboards connected to that perspective is excellent.  Adding the ability to filter the perspective is something that is required for many of the use cases we have.  For example, we have a model that has All Tickets.  We have many dashboards that have a locking filter at the top to show only Open Tickets which doesn't look good from a user and design point of view.  Being able to create a Perspective and not only be able to refine the columns but also filter to (in this example) Open Tickets only would greatly add to the power and usability of this feature. ... Currently sorting of dimensions/categories/series is by Ascending and Descending only.  There are times when such data points need to be sorted in a non alphanumeric manner.  For example, Critical, High, Medium, Low is the desired sort, but this appears as Critical, High, Low, Medium or Medium, Low, High, Critical which looks sub optimal to the user.  A workaround is to add a number prefix via modelling, again this is less than ideal for the user, as is a script to update the displayed values to remove the prefix.  As is possible with other BI Tools, there should be an option for the Designer to configure the sort.  There are various community plugins and scripts that do this on an explicit per widget basis, however these are prone to fail/break and aren't guaranteed or supported through version upgrades.  This should be a part of core application functionality. ... Currently the box and whisker plot is not supported when using a live model. When the widget is created, it has an error and won't show any data. Hi, We are having several issues when dealing with Elasticube Builds. We can now schedule the build (both UI and REST API), but we have no tool to monitor and control this key functionality. What's the history of the builds for a cube? When can we see the whole picture of the time each build for each cube happens to optimize resources and find concurrent builds in time? Now we can just see the last build log, as an isolated entity. We cannot monitor all the builds as a whole, to see the whole picture of all the builds (when it happened, how many time it got, etc.). Allow widget designers to turn off the display of the Grand Totals calculation for certain columns in a pivot table. Situations exist for which it is highly beneficial to display the Grand Total of a select few columns in a pivot table, and not to show others as they can be misleading or distract from the primary purpose of the pivot table. As a standard offering, enable color conditions to also be displayed in the Grand Totals columns/rows. There are three features for BigQuery connections that would make your Edit Chart interface great. Show descriptions on the tables and fields: BigQuery supports adding a description to the fields and tables themselves. This information is often useful, and I find myself going to check the documentation on BigQuery consola in Google Cloud itself. We make use of this feature. Other databases also allow defining comments on tables and/or fields. It would be great to show them on the intervace via a tooltip when you put your mice over the field (right now is showing the type only) Display amount of data to be processed: one of the characteristics of BigQuery is that you pay by the amount of bytes you process. Building queries that are "efficient" is tricky task. Having a visual clue on the cost of the query allows me to understand better, before adding something in a dashboard or even running the query, how much data is going to consume. Also, if you tie that to the fact that I usually want to run the query using filters, and that there is no way for me to change filters in the editor, it makes my life miserable, because I need to copy the query, go to Google console, replace the generic filters [name=value] by real SQL filters, make a sense of the cost in SQL, etc... miserable experience. Show partitioned tables differently: For example, on Google Cloud BigQuery editor, partitioned tables are shown with a different icon than normal tables. Knowing if a table is partitioned, and knowing also which fields are the ones partitioned, would help to build efficient queries without leaving Sisense. Right now I find myself jumping in and out sisense. This takes time, and you are already showing all fields and tables in there, it would be great to just use a different icon for partitioned tables. That would be already helpful. Displaying the amount of data processed, to keep costs slim, would likely be the top thing (and Google does have API / command line in order to get the amount of bytes to be processed by a query). ... I use Chrome browser. I keep multiple tabs of sisense opened. When the session expires, it expires on ALL the tabs (which makes total sense).  The problem is that all those tabs get redirected to the login page and I need to login on each and every one of them. It does not detect I've logged in in another tab, neither if I hit the browser Refresh button it will detect the login and redirect me to the page I was in before I got logged out.   This is annoying because I have to either login again, or open a new window and search for the dashboard I had open. Ideal expected behaviour (preferred, but probably harder): Once I'm logged out on several tabs, logging in one of them should make the others notice and log me in automatically. Good-enough behaviour ("easier"): Once I'm logged out on several tabs, logging in one of them should allow me to go to other opened tabs, which are showing the login windows, and refresh them (e.g using Ctrl+R) so that itwill automatically detect my session and redirect to the page I was before I was logged out.   This will save me a lot of time and make sisense less annoying. ... A while back the JTD didn't pick up measured values properly and we configured our dashboards so that the measured value filters were not relevant to the jump. We have some situations where there are conflicting filters with-in the measure (e.g. comparing different things as a numerator and denominator). Can you add a widget config option to ignore measured value filters? It would require adding an item in config and then adding an if statement to the filtersHelperService.js in the getMeasuredValueFilters like if(config.ignoreMeasureFilter) return [] ; around line 560.
