Currently, when adding a date field as a value in a pivot table, the only option is the # of years/# of days/etc. We need the option to add a minimum and/or maximum date for the selected rows. The current 'work around' for this is to create an integer date, and then use a script to format the integer to present as a date. However, when exporting the data, the date shows as the integer value in the exported data, which is an unacceptable result. Adding the date as a row value solves the export issue, but displays all date values for the lowest level of detail in the data source, which is also an unacceptable result. If it was possible to add the minimum or maximum of a date field as a value in the pivot tables, this would solve all of the issues we currently have. ... View more

When viewing a dashboard and the filter panel is collapsed, it is near impossible for a new user to find the filter panel expand button. WHY IS IT SO SMALL??  Please update the UI so the filter panel is more intuitive to find and expand. Sisense does not currently offer the ability to easily freeze the top row of a pivot table, similar to what most spreadsheet applications offer. Prior community questions on this topic (such as https://community.sisense.com/t5/build-analytics/freezing-the-header-row-for-a-pivot-table/td-p/3022) advise a workaround by manually disabling the Auto Height feature for the pivot table widget, then reducing the height of the pivot table until a widget-level scroll bar appears.  This solution only works for a very specific use case, and losing the ability for the widget to dynamically resize when populated with different sizes of datasets and/or when applying dashboard-level filters makes it less tenable. For example, if a widget is manually resized so that the header is visible when scrolling for 50+ rows of data, the widget will stay the same height if a filter is applied that reduces the dataset to 15 rows. We'd like to see if there is a way to easily freeze the header row of a pivot table while preserving the ability for the widget to automatically resize based on the amount of data. Hi, There are many widget types that are part of the core of an analytical solution. Examples like Tabber, Jump to Dashboard, Accordion... are tools that the business users find very powerful and gives Sisense the fleixbility in the visualization that put the platform in the road to copete with powerful visualization tools like Tableau. But, the profile of most of designers are business analyst or business users. To use and to configure properly this kind of visualizations, makes them to enter in a Javascript world, that it's very confusing and dirty. It makes that the promise of "self service" is not to close. I would like to see some improvements regarding the pivot table in Sisense: Measures as rows Right now, when you add multiple measures to the pivot table they are automatically added as an extra column. Every major player in the BI business allows for measures to be added as rows, I would like Sisense to do so as well Expandable dimensions (could be used for almost every widget type) Let's say I have a pivot table showing revenues with categories as rows and years as columns. Ideally, I would like these to be expandable, i.e. if I click on the + icon for years, it should show me the quarters, months and so on. This could also be implemented for line, bar and column charts.  For categories e.g. I would like to expand to sub-categories. Currently there’s no way on the Sisense UI to have an overview of when the next ElastiCube Builds are set for. Having such info available would make it possible to easily select relevant time slots to run load testing scripts for instance, but also more broadly to help understand and finetune the current Builds orchestration. In order to do so, we would like for admin roles to have access to a single table-like page that would list all the Builds scheduled in the next 24 hours with the following columns: ElastiCube name Build start date Build theoretical end date* Last successful Build duration * Build theoretical end date = Build start date + Last successful Build duration * (or NULL in the rare event where the Build has never succeeded before) Additional features: CSV Export Sort option on column headers Pagination Note: a single Elasticube can have more than one entry (in the example below, we assume the admin user opens the page at 3:00 PM and the ElastiCube_B's Build is launched every 2 hours). ... This is an "add on" request to this product request. Our customers need to be able to filter on datetime columns using a combination of both the date and the time. I'd like to see this added as a capability of filtering. For example, I'd like to filter records from "0800 yesterday to 0800 today". Or "0800 on Monday to 1700 Wednesday". When viewing a Dashboard, it is impossible to determine whether there are filters being applied at the widget level without opening each widget individually and reviewing whether (a) the inheriting of Dashboard-level filters has been disabled and/or (b) if additional and/or conflicting filters have been applied at the widget-level. This makes troubleshooting and/or viewing Dashboards very cumbersome. I'd like to see a simple visual flag from the Dashboard view indicating that "there is a filter applied within this widget". There needs to be a way to deactivate user accounts rather than completing removing. We have users that will no longer have access to the system, but could come back later (for example, trail users). The workarounds are currently: reassigning security groups (means those users are still taking up licenses) writing our own user admin functionality (only makes sense if we are integrating users to another platform) Adding a 'Status' or 'Disabled' flag to the user account would accomplish this. ...
