Currently, when adding a date field as a value in a pivot table, the only option is the # of years/# of days/etc. We need the option to add a minimum and/or maximum date for the selected rows. The current 'work around' for this is to create an integer date, and then use a script to format the integer to present as a date. However, when exporting the data, the date shows as the integer value in the exported data, which is an unacceptable result. Adding the date as a row value solves the export issue, but displays all date values for the lowest level of detail in the data source, which is also an unacceptable result. If it was possible to add the minimum or maximum of a date field as a value in the pivot tables, this would solve all of the issues we currently have. ... View more

When viewing a dashboard and the filter panel is collapsed, it is near impossible for a new user to find the filter panel expand button. WHY IS IT SO SMALL??  Please update the UI so the filter panel is more intuitive to find and expand. Sisense does not currently offer the ability to easily freeze the top row of a pivot table, similar to what most spreadsheet applications offer. Prior community questions on this topic (such as https://community.sisense.com/t5/build-analytics/freezing-the-header-row-for-a-pivot-table/td-p/3022) advise a workaround by manually disabling the Auto Height feature for the pivot table widget, then reducing the height of the pivot table until a widget-level scroll bar appears.  This solution only works for a very specific use case, and losing the ability for the widget to dynamically resize when populated with different sizes of datasets and/or when applying dashboard-level filters makes it less tenable. For example, if a widget is manually resized so that the header is visible when scrolling for 50+ rows of data, the widget will stay the same height if a filter is applied that reduces the dataset to 15 rows. We'd like to see if there is a way to easily freeze the header row of a pivot table while preserving the ability for the widget to automatically resize based on the amount of data. Hi, There are many widget types that are part of the core of an analytical solution. Examples like Tabber, Jump to Dashboard, Accordion... are tools that the business users find very powerful and gives Sisense the fleixbility in the visualization that put the platform in the road to copete with powerful visualization tools like Tableau. But, the profile of most of designers are business analyst or business users. To use and to configure properly this kind of visualizations, makes them to enter in a Javascript world, that it's very confusing and dirty. It makes that the promise of "self service" is not to close. I would like to see some improvements regarding the pivot table in Sisense: Measures as rows Right now, when you add multiple measures to the pivot table they are automatically added as an extra column. Every major player in the BI business allows for measures to be added as rows, I would like Sisense to do so as well Expandable dimensions (could be used for almost every widget type) Let's say I have a pivot table showing revenues with categories as rows and years as columns. Ideally, I would like these to be expandable, i.e. if I click on the + icon for years, it should show me the quarters, months and so on. This could also be implemented for line, bar and column charts.  For categories e.g. I would like to expand to sub-categories. This is an "add on" request to this product request. Our customers need to be able to filter on datetime columns using a combination of both the date and the time. When viewing a Dashboard, it is impossible to determine whether there are filters being applied at the widget level without opening each widget individually and reviewing whether (a) the inheriting of Dashboard-level filters has been disabled and/or (b) if additional and/or conflicting filters have been applied at the widget-level. This makes troubleshooting and/or viewing Dashboards very cumbersome. I'd like to see a simple visual flag from the Dashboard view indicating that "there is a filter applied within this widget". We embed Sisense into our application and produce pre-built dashboards for customers (which they cannot edit). We allow our users to create their own dashboards as well and with this comes the ability to create their own formulas. We have found that allowing them to edit the name of their formula also allows the editing of our pre-built shared formulas and our attributes. While this only impacts the user locally, it can become a support nightmare, as customers can rename our pre-built items and make it hard to them troubleshoot. We would like the ability to make these edit options more granular so that we can control (1) Shared Formula name edits (2) Attribute name edits and (3) non-shared Formula, local user dashboard, name edits. ... This is a request to enhance this feature in community thread of the same title. This is useful because it allows users to see all the available dimension for a particular list of filters even if there are no facts for it. I understand that we can also use this community thread; however, this is only limited to 1 dimension. However, right now, it does not work when [Columns] field are added into pivot table. We would like to be able to dynamically aggregate different categories of data into a fewer number of categories to make the visualization and analysis of that data cleaner and more Viewer-friendly. Example: I may have records of a color that I want to count on. I may have these possible values: "Red", "RED", "red", "Blue", "BLUE", "blue", "Orange", "ORANGE", "orange", and so on. If I COUNT on these values I may get: "Red": 10 "RED": 7 "red": 12 "Blue": 2 "BLUE": 7 "blue": 22 ...and so on..
