Interested in learning more about what our community offers? Here are a few additional insights to help.

Creating a Community Account 

  • How do I create a community account? 
    • Click the Register link in the upper right. 
    • Complete the registration form and click Register to create your community  account 

Profile Configurations

  • How do I update my profile settings? 
    • Click the avatar icon in the upper right hand corner
    • Select My Settings

 

  • How do I change my avatar? 
    • Click the avatar icon in the upper right hand corner
    • Select My Settings
    • On the Personal tab, click the pencil icon on the current avatar
    • Select one of the provided Avatars or upload your own

 

  • How do I add a bio? 
    • Current Position 
    • Brief career summary
    • Areas of interest [especially related to Sisense] 
    • Hobbies outside of work
    • Click the avatar icon in the upper right hand corner
    • Select My Settings
    • In the Personal tab, look for the Personal Information section
    • Enter your info in the Bio section 
    • What would you recommend including in my bio? 

Content Search

  • How do I search for content? 
    • At the top of each page, a search toolbar is accessible within the header and will complete a community-wide search 
    • The search bar inside the banner will search within the current community section
    • The search bar is dynamic and will produce results as you type [this can take a few seconds to appear
    • If a result is not visible, press Enter and an Advanced Search page will appear with options to filter the results 

Discussion Forums

  • How do I start a new discussion? 
    • Casual Conversations: A casual place to hang out and chat about non-technical things
    • Help and How-To: Your place to get help using Sisense to meet your business needs
    • Product Feedback: Have an idea that would make Sisense better or solve a problem for you? Let us know here!
    1. Open the applicable discussion board: 
    2. Click the blue button under the search box 
    3. Complete the form
    4. Click Post after you have completed your entry 
    5. This will add your contribution to the discussion board 
    6. Consult our Posting Tips guide for additional recommendations
  • How do I reply to a discussion? 
    • Click the Reply button at the bottom right of the post you want to reply to
    • Add your reply within the content box that appears
    • Click the blue Reply button located at the bottom right of the content box to post your reply
  • How long should I expect to receive a response? 
    • We typically give the community 48 hours to reply 
    • If there has not been a response within that time we will attempt to answer the question ourselves, or reach out internally to find someone who can.
    • The Sisense Community Team is committed to ensuring that posts are replied to promptly.
  • How do I like a post?
    • On the bottom right corner of the post there is a thumbs up button labeled Like, click that to add a like 
  • What are labels? 
    • Click the label of interest
    • Content will appear that is tagged with that label
    • Click the label of interest
    • A prompt will appear at the top of the feed with the option to subscribe to the label
    • When subscribed, you receive an email when content with that label is published
    • They are content folders and can be used to filter content and be kept up to date on specific topics
    • Labels are applied when content is posted
    • Content can have multiple labels
    • To filter content: 
    • To subscribe to a label click on the specific label you want to follow. You will receive a notification when new content with that label is published.
  • How do I follow a post? 
    • To follow a post, click on the bell icon at the upper right corner of the page, underneath your avatar & username
    • Followed posts and notification settings can be managed on the Follow & Notifications tab of your profile.
  • What if I see content that goes against our community guidelines? 
    • All community members agree to follow our Terms and Conditions  and Community Guidelines 
    • If you see a violation of our terms and guidelines, please flag the content by clicking the gear icon on the upper right and selecting Report 
    • This will hide the content from the community and flag it with our moderation team

  • How do I subscribe to a blog? 
    • Navigate to the Sisense Community Blog
    • Click on the bell icon at the upper right corner of the page, underneath your avatar & username
    • Followed posts and notification settings can be managed on the Follow & Notifications tab of your profile.
    • Navigate to the Product Release Blog 
    • Click on the bell icon at the upper right corner of the page, underneath your avatar & username
    • Followed posts and notification settings can be managed on the Follow & Notifications tab of your profile

  • How do I unsubscribe from a blog? 
    • Navigate to the applicable blog
    • Click on the bell icon at the upper right corner of the page, underneath your avatar & username

    •  At the bottom of the KB Doc there is a button you can click to comment, or you can use the box labeled Leave a comment… 
    • Click here and add your comment to the content box
    • When completed, click the blue Reply button
  • How do I bookmark Knowledge Base articles? 
    • Click on the bell icon at the upper right corner of the page, underneath your avatar & username
    • Followed posts and notification settings can be managed on the Follow & Notifications tab of your profile
  • What if I see content that goes against our community guidelines? 
    • All community members agree to follow our Terms and Conditions  and Community Guidelines
