Two more things I'd love to knock down: Can I make the gray bars to be #00ACCD? And the orange bar to be #F7921E? I want to show the value labels of all bars (i.e. their %s). Hi Sisense community! I have a question on when I can use the un-select function in charts. I was expecting to see the option to “un-select” a bar in a bar chart that includes many clients in my dashboard. Because in many cases, there are outliers that I want to exclude in my dashboard. However, upon right clicking the bar I want to un-select, it only shows the “select”, “add to pulse” and “drill into” option. How can I use the un-select option here? Below please find a screenshot of my sample bar chart widget. I then randomly filtered to 11 teams and attempted to un-select Cincinnati Reds, this time I could see the “un-select” option after right clicking on the team. To me, it appears the “un-select” option appears very randomly. Under what circumstances can I use this option? When can I not use this option? I couldn’t find any documentation about this online. Hi Daniel, Thanks for your reply and I appreciate the help. Your answer would help achieve the basic chart but it is missing 2 of the most critical requirements: My team would change dynamically when the end user filter to a different team (in the dashboard filter). How to write the script in a way that it will highlight a different team every time the dashboard filter is changed? How to hide the team names of all the blue bars but let the red team name visible. Hi the great sisense community, I need a lot of help on making a combo chart in Sisense. Below is what I want to create: The purpose of this chart is to show my main baseball team (Yankees) in blue and compare its cost to other teams (orange). Due to the confidentiality of the project, I cannot show the names of the other teams in the bar chart. But I'm allowed to show their costs. My data looks like below and is already in sisense elasticube. To achieve the chart in Excel, I have to make a table like below and then use this table to feed the combo chart. Main Team is the blue bar, Competitor is the orange bars and average is the average line. My chart configuration as below: Now comes the tricky question. I'd like to have the easy option of making a customized table or pivot table with any data types in my data model. Below is the ideal table I can easily achieve in Tableau and PowerBI today, with string and number data types. Sisense cannot achieve this without adding in bespoke BloX or code snippet. My data looks like the below: Trying to achieve my ideal result in Sisense pivot table looks like below, which is not a good look. Sisense cannot visualize the string data type in a pivot table or a table with numbers in the way I hoped for. Other softwares have the option of dragging and dropping any data into an area in the dashboard which will solve this issue. I still don't think it's a great way to paste some bespoke code behind the dashboard as a great solution. This is by far way more difficult to use compared to other dashboard platforms e.g. Tableau and PowerBI. I don't think it's fair to force me to "accept as solution". I'd like Sisense as a company to consider adding the drag and drop functionality. Let me know how I can reach the right person to communicate this through3KViews1like2Comments
