I have a ticket in; they restarted some build-scheduled service, but that does not seem to have resolved the issue. It seemed like some of our build schedules were back up and running after I did a manual rebuild, but after the weekend even those no longer seemed to be running. Re: Builds succeed, but records missing Thanks for the response VirginieB - I'm curious to hear if you were using Redshift as well? I was connected to an engineer at Sisense and the diagnosis so far is low memory in Redshift, so we are investigating options to increase resources to see if it resolves the problem. Re: Builds succeed, but records missing Here's an example - again, 1.5 million records should be returned. But only 1,092 were returned. And the build said it succeeded? Builds succeed, but records missing Has anyone else run into a situation where Elasticube builds succeed, but only return a partial set of records? I'm finding that it is only happening in our largest Redshift table. There are 1.5 million records...the build is shown as successful but only 50k-150k records actually wind up in the Elasticube. I've attempted to run the build as "replace all" as well as "changes only" but no improvement. I've got a ticket in with Sisense to get this checked out but wanted to pick your brains in the meantime. Re: How do you handle timezone conversions on dashboards? Here's a link to some Sisense documentation on time zones...you would create a custom date table (or I suppose you could add custom columns to an existing table) and then assign specific users access to only certain timezones through data security? https://support.sisense.com/kb/en/article/enabling-timezone-by-user Re: Data Transformation Best Practices I try to think about who might need to update that transformation in the future - our data team has an engineer and an analyst. If it's something I only want the engineer to manage, we'll perform the transformation in Redshift. If it's something I want our analyst to manage, we'll perform the transformation in an Elasticube. That Redshift<>Elasticube connection point is where we delineate a lot of job responsibilities.
