Assistance Needed with Filtering Embedded Widget in Salesforce

I’m embedding a widget into Salesforce following the guide Embedding Sisense Dashboards in Salesforce. While embedding an entire dashboard, the JAQL filters work as expected. However, when I embed a specific widget and attempt to apply a filter on it, the filter does not seem to take effect.

Could you please let me know if it is possible to enable filtering on an embedded widget? If so, I would appreciate any guidance or documentation on how to achieve this.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Best regards,

Tim

Hi @timautomation,

Thank you for reaching out. You are using filters in Salesforce and want those to be sent into Sisense to filter the iFrame embedded widget, is that correct?

David Raynor (DRay)

That is correct, when embedding the dashboard it works but when applied to the widget the filter does not work. So I was wondering if it was possible to filter widgets using jaql.

Does this help? https://sisense.dev/guides/querying/useJaql/
