Connecting Sisense to Local SQL Server in Sisense version 7.4.4 and newer
 
  1. Open SQL server and initially connect using windows Authentication.
  2. Go to Security > Logins, right click and Create new user as seen in example below.
3. Next go to “User Mapping” and check the database needed and add your newly created user to “db_owner” group as seen in example below.
4. Next right click on the SQL server name at the top and click properties then go the Security section and change Server Authentication to SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode as seen in example below.

5. Next login to Sisense and Setup/Change Data connection to the new SQL Server login account.
