How to include subtotals in download to Excel

I have a pivot table widget with subtotals enabled for 2 rows. The file generated using Download to Excel only includes the first row's subtotals. The subtotals for the secondary row enabled with subtotals are not included in the excel file.
All information I find about download to Excel states to use it to retain the formatting and display of the pivot but it isn't working for me. I expect the excel to have a subtotal row for each Department and also each person.
Department is the first row in my pivot, then Person. In the UI, the widget starts with Department, then person, where a subtotal per person appears, then a subtotal for each department.
How do I get the subtotals per person to also be included in download to Excel? The file includes subtotals for Department only.

Hi @HamzaJ

I am not our Sisense Admin and do not have access our account's configuration. I am not able to check where you've requested.
Also on this topic - My colleague Rosemary filed a support case: https://community.sisense.com/t5/support-portal/bd-p/SupportPortal?page=casedetails&caseId=500Pk0000... in early June. We received an update June 6 confirming Download to Excel as not including the secondary subtotals rows as a bug, advising it is under review with your R&D team and the fix is expected to come in your next major release. Please see below for that detail. I will mark this as solved, though it is not solved by the resolution suggestions offered here but from the support case linked above.

Hi Rosemary, I hope you are well. I would like to inform you that I was able to reproduce the issue on our end, and now we are working with our R&D team on the investigation that normally requires some time. It seems to be a known issue that was recently reported and slated to be fixed in our next major release L2024.2. The subtotal is missing in Excel export when there are either too many "Rows" or certain combination of fields is present. Disabling several "Rows" should result in an Excel file with subtotals included. I am setting this ticket to 'investigating' status and will be sure to let you know once additional information is available. Please feel free to update us if you would like to discuss it further. Best Regards, Oleh

Hey @BeckyCrittenden ,

Is it possible to share a screenshot of the table that you are exporting to Excel?

Furthermore;

Could you check under Configuration (Admin > System Management) if Export to Excel V2 is enabled (under Exporting) and if subtotals for single rows (under Pivot Table) is enabled aswell?

If not could you enable those and test if it gives the expected results?

Hamza
