How to hide column in data export?

I have a pivot table widget, and I am looking for a way to hide a column when downloading this widget as a excel or csv file. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks. But these two posts are for hiding from display but not from data export. I would like a way to hide in the data export.

To make sure I understand, you want the column to show when viewed directly, but automatically hidden when exporting. Is that correct?

Hi @DXC 

To the bestd of my knowledge, there is no way to apply cusotmizations on the native Excel/CSV exports  so there is no way to hide a column from thsoe exports. 

With the above being said, both our export and pivot/tables plugins  support this option as a built feature and 

From which branch of DXC are you? Perhaps you are from a branch that already uses our plugins and then I'll simply hop on a call to show you how it works.
