If they want to control how their users see certain bookmarks (user can only see their own, team book marks, or org bookmarks), is that done through views only or is there another way to regulate that?

Hey @wPaardekooper, thanks for the question!

Bookmarks are created per user (by the user), so they cannot really be shared automatically or at scale with many users at one time. But each user will only see their own Bookmarks that they have created.

Some options:

  • A Bookmark is just a query that references a data set (View) and can be used to filter down the results. So you can scope down the View itself as much as you want i.e. create the Bookmark as a View and share with the appropriate users or user groups.
  • You could also share a query with a group via another means, like email or Slack and encourage them to run the query and save it as a Bookmark.

Thanks!
