What does "Query cube from local storage" do if you are a single-node instance?

We have an on-premise single node install of Sisense. From the documentation, in the DataGroups management section, it's not clear what "Query cube from local storage"  does for Single-Node installations. Anyone have any ides?

In addition, there is a flag for "Store ElastiCube data on S3", which we can switch on, yet we haven't configured anything, so I'm not sure how that could work. It also doesn't make sense that you can have "Query cube from local storage" and "Store ElastiCube data on S3" both on.

Hello!

The "Query cube from local storage" toggle is not relevant for single node, since, as you correctly guessed, single node has no shared storage and already stores all elasticubes locally. We are working to hide this toggle for single nodes in the UI moving forward,
"Store ElastiCube data on S3" would be enabled to save your ElastiCubes on S3 if you have configured it in your config.yaml files that were used when setting up Sisense. The storage location is also reflected(cannot be changed) from within Configuration manager->Management.

I do agree that the configuration options today represent all possible options in the app and are not filtered to be environment specific or dependent on other configuration choices. This is something that we plan to fix in the future to make the data groups UI more intuitive. Thank you for that feedback!
