You know, thinking about inspiring women for this month, Sister Rosetta Tharpe immediately came to mind. Seriously, she's like the original rock goddess! Calling her the 'Godmother of Rock 'n' Roll' isn't just a catchy nicknameโ€”it's the truth. Hearing her play electric guitar in the 30s and 40s? Mind-blowing! Those distorted tones and riffs? That was her just being herself, pushing boundaries way before anyone else.

As a musician myself, she really inspires me to just be. To not worry about fitting into a box, to experiment, and to let my passion shine through. She reminds me that true innovation comes from being authentic, and that's something I think we can all take to heart, no matter what we're doing. ๐Ÿ’œ

Wow, I love learning about incredible women like this! ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ”ฅ I hadnโ€™t heard much about Sister Rosetta Tharpe before, but she sounds absolutely legendary. The fact that she was rocking electric guitar in the 30s and 40sโ€”and influencing the future of rock 'n' rollโ€”is mind-blowing! I love how you describe her fearless approach to music and creativity. Definitely adding her to my must-listen list! Any favorite songs of hers that youโ€™d recommend? I may be working on a fun playlist for the month. ;-]

I have to give my shoutout to Taylor Swift! ๐Ÿ’–โœจ (anyone who knows me, is not shocked that this is my comment lol). Not only is she a musical genius, but sheโ€™s also a fearless advocate for women everywhere! From speaking out about equal pay in the music industry to supporting women-owned businesses and uplifting female artists, she constantly uses her platform to empower and inspire. Sheโ€™s proof that you can be bold, brilliant, and completely yourself while lifting others up along the way! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘‘

A co-worker from back at Symantec, Sherilyn Swan, showed me that there was a place for people who loved people AND technology. She looked past the job description or business persona and saw people for who they were as individuals. She doesn't know this (until now), but she opened my mind to possibilities I didn't know existed. Her confidence and caring personality have been a North Star for me.

That is an amazing story!! I am so glad that you had someone show you this kind of compassion, and that I get to see you do the same to others!
