INTRODUCTION
This article explains how to install and use the giphy widget.
This is an extension of the existing image widget allowing you to define a keyword and with the giphy api display a random image driven by the keyword. Whimsical in nature this plugin will allow you to add a funny random image that breathes life to your dashboard.
IMPLEMENTATION:
Step 1:
Download the attached .zip file.
Extract the .zip file into the following path: "[Sisense installation path]\PrismWeb\Plugins".
If you are using version 7.2 and higher unzip the contents into your C:\Program Files\Sisense\app\plugins\ folder.
Step 2:
On your dashboard, click the Create Widget button and select Advanced Configuration. Next, select Giphy Widget from the dropdown. In the design tab, enter the keyword you would like to display a giphy for.
Based on the keyword tag widget will display a random image every time the page is loaded.
NOTES:
- The plugin is using the Giphy API to get the image.
