Since L2025.3, the algorithm for how ‘long’ category labels are handled in column / bar charts has been adjusted.
These used to wrap as needed (and have a fairly long character string limit), but the wrapping feature has seemingly been removed completely in L2025.3.
The result of this is text that would previously display fine is now overly-truncated. I thought this might have been a bug, but support are saying this is intentional.
If the aggressiveness of this truncation algorithm is not going to be reviewed, please can we have the option to enable / disable text wrapping with the old character limit.
I have attached an image showing the old vs. new behaviour.
