401 Error in Report Manager

DRay  Hello community,    I am getting a 401 error in the report manager and not sure what it means. I can't find anything in the documentation or post regarding this error.

A 401 error in the Report Manager typically indicates an issue with authentication or access permissions. Based on the documents provided, there are several potential causes and resolutions for this error:

    1. Configuration Settings: One common cause is related to the "Send Reports to Non-Sisense Users" option being enabled without specifying email addresses for non-Sisense users. This can lead to a 401 error if the report includes recipients who are not Sisense users. Disabling this option or ensuring that email addresses are provided can resolve the issue 1.
    2. Token Expiration: Another potential cause is the expiration of the token used by the Report Manager to interact with required assets such as dashboards. This can occur after changes in security settings or session management methods. Ensuring that tokens are renewed or consistent across services can help resolve this issue 2.
    3. Version Incompatibility: There might be an incompatibility between the Sisense and Report Manager versions. Upgrading to the latest version of Report Manager may resolve the issue 3.
    4. Secret Token and SMTP Configuration: In some cases, the 401 error was resolved by updating the secret token in the Configuration Portal for consistency across all services and correcting any inconsistencies with the internal SMTP port 4.

Can you check these places and let us know if it works? If the issue persists, contacting Sisense support for further assistance might be necessary
