Trying to use the Contribution() function with PASTYEAR() data results in error

The argument of CONTRIBUTION function should be an aggregated value.

Try below formula (added SUM inside CONTRIBUTION function):

CONTRIBUTION( SUM (PASTYEAR( [ Sales ] ) ))
