Within dashboards, the only way to know currently if there is a filter on a widget is to open that widget. This is VERY time consuming if there are multiple widgets within a dashboard (we sometimes have up to 10). Please add an icon at the top of widgets (near the pencil would be great). If the icon is grey, no widget level filter is set. If the icon is colored in, a filter is set. If a filter is set, mousing over the icon should return a preview of what the filter is. ... View more

I got a response how it can be done at a widget level, but there is no feature in sisense to apply this change at global level for all pie charts in every dashboard. Every day we process our elasticubes and they always process in the same sequence.  Users are able to create dashboards that have widgets from different elasticubes.  However when they select to send the dashboard by email on "Every Elasticube Update" this sends after the first of the elasticubes has processed, rather than waiting until all of them have updated.  This means users are emailed dashboards that have some data correct, and some that is old. I think the solution would be an option to send after all of the elasticubes in the dashboard have updated, or to select a specific one, if the elasticubes generally build in a particular order. It would be good if this could be considered for enhancement as users wouldn't want to receive partially correct dashboards in this situation. Thanks, James ... View more

Enhance the Header options when you download a widget as PDF (via ellipsis > Download > Download as PDF) to include the same options as when exporting a full dashboard as PDF. Dashboard PDF export offers "Date As Of", "Dataset Name" and "Dashboard Filters" in the Header options (attached). This is also needed when exporting specific widget, which only offers Title. ... There are some dashboards where we don't want people messing with the filters.  Or where filters aren't needed to be changed, and we want the maximum "real estate" available for the body of the dashboard. I know you can hide the left- and right-hand panes with script, but this really should be an option exposed in the dashboard designer UI, as a setting for that dashboard. The Pivot table Excel download behaviour was recently changed. Previously, merged cells from the pivot table on the dashboard view would persist in a downloaded Excel file. Now, rows are not merged and are simply duplicated (as with the csv download). While there are some upsides to this, this is a change our users and customers have reacted negatively to, asking us to revert the change, which of course we are unable to do. We would like the option back for a download which maintains pivot table cell merging, replicating the way these appear in the dashboard.  ... View more

The email schedules have a limitation when the file used in attachment is large in size. Most email servers have a 25mb max limit.  It would be really helpful, if there was an option to include a downloadable link in the email. When a user schedules an email, with the link option, the attachment is downloaded to a temporary path and the link to that path is provided in the email. Clicking on the link should download the file from the temporary path which can be an s3 bucket or from some server. We can keep a retention policy of few days for the files. ... View more

As an admin, have an option at the top of a dashboard to be able to view it as another specific user.  For example, if user John Smith is set under the data security on a cube to only have access to rows for a certain region, the ability to view a dashboard as John Smith would make checking user access very easy. ... Sisense does not currently offer the ability to easily freeze the top row of a pivot table, similar to what most spreadsheet applications offer. Prior community questions on this topic (such as https://community.sisense.com/t5/build-analytics/freezing-the-header-row-for-a-pivot-table/td-p/3022) advise a workaround by manually disabling the Auto Height feature for the pivot table widget, then reducing the height of the pivot table until a widget-level scroll bar appears.  This solution only works for a very specific use case, and losing the ability for the widget to dynamically resize when populated with different sizes of datasets and/or when applying dashboard-level filters makes it less tenable. For example, if a widget is manually resized so that the header is visible when scrolling for 50+ rows of data, the widget will stay the same height if a filter is applied that reduces the dataset to 15 rows. We'd like to see if there is a way to easily freeze the header row of a pivot table while preserving the ability for the widget to automatically resize based on the amount of data. As the platform has users across the globe, the timezone chosen for reporting must get aligned with the logged-in user's locale. SiSense already displays the ElastiCube's last build time in the logged-in user's timezone. Hi, for this moment we have such a behaviour: sum(NULL * 10) = NULL but SUM(NULL * [id]) = [id] in the same time if [id] have values (1,NULL) and we will do SUM([id]) = NULL Is it possible to add some toggle in the system how to work with NULL values. Similar to widow-orphan control of Paragraph page breaks in MS Word... it would be nice to have this in pivot tables too. That is, let's say the existing rows/subtotals in a pivot table take up 20 out of the "rows per page" value of 25.  If the next sub-section to display is going to take 3 rows, great, show that section.  But if the next sub-section is going to show 10 items, it means the subsection/subtotal will be split across two pages.  This is hard to remembe/digest/use when interacting with the dashboard.  With widow-orphan control, it would do a page break "early" before showing that next subsection of 10 items. ... Hi, Whenever an user with owner access is deleted, all the dasboard created by him are getting deleted. Also, those dashboards shared with others are also deleted. This looks like a critical issue, since the dashboard will be shared among other users, they won't be able to see any dashboard if the user gets deleted. Current behavior of the Simply Ask feature doesn't support automatic saving of the modified NLQ model to the "*.dash" file. So you loose your development work after exporting the dashboard with already enabled and tuned "Simply Ask" to a "*.dash" file. After importing this dashboard back to Sisense the feature is automatically disabled. Also if a developer will enable it manually it starts running based on the "By Default" NLQ model. This forces to redo all the work on the model back again which is time consuming and not efficient. We expect Sisense to consider in the future the development work on making this more convenient for a BI engineer. If a "Simply Ask" feature will be automatically enabled on an imported dashboard with a corrected model, it would be beneficial for dashboard deploy automation and will reduce unneeded additional manual work on setting up this feature again and again for different working environments for the same dashboard. ...
