I use pulse alerts to alert my clients when there is data on Sisense that needs their attention. The Pulse alert emails are accompanied by a big yellow 'Open Pulse' button. This button is the obvious thing to click on, but unhelpfully, it leads to the 'Pulses' tab of Sisense, not the actual dashboard. As a viewer, I want to jump straight to the dashboard, not be confused but this 'Pulses' tab which I most likely will not have seen before nor used. An option to have the button instead open the dashboard directly would be much better and make it much easier to engage customers with the Sisense platform.   I know there is a link to the dashboard on the pulse itself, but going via this screen this is inconvenient at best and confusing at worst. ... Currently, when you share a dashboard you can have it email the dashboard out to people following a couple different schedules: Every Elasticube update (with a limit on times per day) Daily (can specify which days and a time) Monthly (can specify which months and what day of the month) The trick is that elasticube updates includes failed updates.  I would like to add an option to exclude failed builds from triggering these dashboard update deliveries. Now that we have alerting for build failures, there doesn't seem to be a reason for dashboards to deliver without new information. ... View more

Hi all, Can there please be a way to export and import the "Look and Feel" themes in Sisense? At the moment, I've got a dev and prod instances for Sisense and 50+ clients who we aim to have custom themes based on their company branding and colour schemes. After making and testing one out in Dev, I'd love to be able to just copy a theme over from Dev to Prod when promoting a dashboard up instead of the current process of going through each individual settings and copying each colour one by one. We create filters on certain records that have long names, sometimes with similar names.  The current width of the filter panel cuts off these record names and makes it difficult to find the correct record(s) to select. In report manager, when trying to add recipients for email, we receive sisense user email id suggestions based on keyword entered. This can be confusing to users, as our end users send emails to external recipients(non sisense) and that email id suggestion is sisense internal user email. In dashboard filters we currently cannot add custom tool tip to filters. While using the dashboard, it will be helpful to add some tool tip description to the filter which may pop up by hovering around it or through some information icon. Today, we can use plugins, dashboard and widget scripts to customize dashboard and widgets for scheduled emails as well as desktop. Same should be available for Pulse scripts which allow to modification of alert JAQL on the desktop, but the same script is not executed when sending alerts/notifications. Currently, any report having a table widget is missing IDs in<td> and <tr> elements of the <table>. We are writing automation testing scripts for which we need to have unique ids for each cell. When the sisense user is deleted the email of this user is still in the recipients list for a report in the Report Manager. If the report Manager is configured to send the reports to external customers, the user who is no longer with the company will be receiving the reports with dashboard data as the reports for the external users are generated using the owner or an additional user. When we are building pivot tables, sometimes there is a need to sort things by the columns. If I want to show a pivot table with a Team Lead as the rows, Total Spend and Total Volume as the values, and Weeks as the the columns, I have no way to sort this to show the date in descending order and keep the table structure the way I want to see it. When using dependent filters and selecting new filter values this automatically resets all filter values already chosen.  Whilst this is desirable from a security perspective, not all models have security applied.  The proposition here is to have a toggle or similar that the designer/owner of the dashboard can use to turn this behavior on/off.  Thus the reset reasoning behind this can be maintained if required for that model or use case and the behavior can be turned off if non resetting is optimal for the use case needed. ... NOTE: This is based on a post I made in the "Help & How To" forum. It was recommended to me to make a post here, in the Product Feedback forum, about it. There should be a way for Sisense to display the currently-selected filter values directly on the dashboard. I know that users can see this by expanding the right-hand sidebar to see the Dashboard Filters, and it's also a display option when you export to PDF. However, these aren't always obvious or available to the intended audience for the dashboard. For example, if I have a dashboard that's setup with a dashboard-level filter for "Work Group", it would be nice if I could display - directly on the dashboard itself - what work group is currently being filtered down to. Also, some of the values can be unclear, especially for date filters that use colloquial language such as "This Year" or "Last Quarter". There should be some way of displaying the exact date ranges that are being filtered for. For example, if today is November 13th 2024, then the "Last Quarter" filter value would mean dates from July 1st 2024 through September 30th 2024. But after the new year, if I were to check the dashboard again on January 6th 2025, then the date range would instead be from October 1st 2024 through December 31st 2024. Currently, in both cases, it'll just still how as "Last Quarter" and it's up to the user to figure out what that means (which can be difficult if they're looking at a static printout from some unknown time in the past). Other time periods can also be ambiguous or prone to misunderstanding. For instance, it's common to see people assume "Last Week" means a rolling time period covering the last 7 days, rather than the prior calendar week. We use jump to dashboard to allow users to view a data table to give them context to the chart they are looking at. For large data sets, this can lead to millions of records. The issue comes up when users try to then export this table. It would be nice if there was a way to set a hard limit to the number of records returned in a table/table with aggregation. When users try to download too large of a table, it impacts server performance for everyone, and the only way to really limit the tables right now and still allow them to be filterable on all required fields is not efficient (rank filter on a semi-unique identifier using the max of a unique identifier). I am looking to place simple guard rails into how much data can be exported into one file, I am flexible as to where this option presents itself and how - either a count of max records or a file size works. Having an option to set the max number of records returned in this widget type also would work. I would be fine with this as an option buried in the configuration settings page or within the admin page itself. I just want the option present somewhere. ... View more

When viewing a datamodel, there's a button to view as "List" instead of "Diagram". I sometimes use that when I need to methodically check each table. The Data Security tab's group/user assignment window currently has a max search limit of 20 results.   The "results" search limit should be configurable because we have approx. 50 groups that need to be assigned, & it is very difficult to find/assign/manage all of the groups when the search window does not return all of the appropriate results. ...
