If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be and why?

For me, it would be Harry Seldon from the Foundation books. I would ask him how he got into Psychohistory, what surprised him most, and how he dealt with the stress of creating a plan to save humanity?

In regards to fictional characters... I'd LOVE to meet the Took brothers from LOTR (FOOL OF A TOOK!), or Obi-Wan Kenobi (even though I haven't read the books hahaha).

Oooh, if I was having dinner with a female author I'd choose Elin Hilderbrand-- I'd LOVE to hear her story that inspired her books. I wouldn't hate becoming her friend and vacationing at her Nantucket house with her either!! 😉 If I was having dinner with a male author I'd love to chat with J.R.R. Tolkien; I watched the LOTR Trilogy for the first time this year and I would LOVE to just sit and hear him talk about the creative process of building that world and making the story come to life. I would love to also hear his thoughts on the movie adaptions!
