License Portal (my.sisense.com) and re-logging your license in Sisense
Introduction:
Confused about my.sisense.com versus your Sisense login? This guide explains what the licensing portal is, when Support or your CSM asks you to re-login your license, and how to reset a forgotten license password. Applies to Sisense Linux, cloud and on-prem.
What my.sisense.com is
My Sisense is the licensing portal where you view your account and license details. Reach it at my.sisense.com/login and log in with your license email and password. From there you can see your license overview, add a user to the license, generate an offline key, and manage license users (change password, delete user).
When Support or your CSM asks you to re-login your license
Sometimes Support or Customer Success will ask you to re-login the license in the Sisense app — for example after a renewal or when the instance still shows an old or expired license. To do this:
In Sisense Application, click Admin.
Open License Utilization (System Administrators only).
Scroll to the Change License section.
Enter your license email and license password.
Click Save so the instance picks up the current license.
Important: the password this screen asks for is the same one you use on my.sisense.com — not your Sisense app user password.
What to do if you don't remember your license password
You can reset it on the license portal, then use the new password in the app:
Go to my.sisense.com/login and click Forgot Password.
Enter the license email address. A Reset Password email is sent — follow it to set a new password.
Log in to my.sisense.com with the new password to confirm it works.
In Sisense, go to Admin → License Utilization → Change License, enter the license email and the new password, and click Save.
Conclusion:
my.sisense.com is your license portal, separate from your Sisense app login. When asked to re-login your license in Admin → License Utilization → Change License, use your my.sisense.com credentials. If you don't remember that password, reset it with Forgot Password on my.sisense.com — the same reset lets you into the portal and lets you re-login the license in the app.
