Support for hardened AMI's on EKS
Summary: Pankaj Joshi expressed that their organization is moving towards using hardened AMIs approved by their internal security team but is currently unable to do so with Sisense on EKS due to permission issues and lack of support for these AMIs. They have requested that Sisense consider supporting such AMIs/OS in the future.
Currently Sisense support only general-purpose OS for the EKS setup and does not allow using OS like Bottlerocket via any hardened ami's. For security purpose our ORG is moving towards using the hardened AMI's only which have been approved by our internal security team. For us this adoption is currently blocked since Sisense doesn't support it due to permission issues that it need to function properly which might not be available on those hardened ami's. Can you look into supporting such ami's/OS in future.
