Reset password using SSH
Can I use SSH to reset a user's password? How? I'd like it as an option in case an admin password gets lost and isn't recoverable by other means.

Were you able to get this resolved?

Thank you for your question. You can use API to reset a users password and prompt them to create a new one. https://sisense.dev/guides/restApi/v0/?platform=linux&spec=L2023.11#/users/forgetPassword
I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Have a great day!

OP1 year agoAll I've got is the SSH password in the scenario I'm thinking of. No API token/password.
