Plugin - Customize Dashboard Loading Screen
This plugin enables changing or hiding the new Sisense dashboard loading screen introduced in L2023.6.
Installation
To install this plugin, download and unzip the attachment. Then drop the dashboardLoadingScreen folder into your plugins folder (/opt/sisense/storage/plugins). Enable the plugin on the Addons tab in the Admin section, wait for the build, and you are good to go.
Customize
To customize the loading screen, first, grab the URL of an image or gif you want to use. Next, update loadingImg inside of main.6.js with your URL and save. I've noticed the update can take a few refreshes before the new image is used.
Tip - use an image with a transparent background.

Just wanted to follow up on this - the ability to upload your own dashboard loading animation is implemented and will be out of the box available since L2023.11.
Upgrade to L2023.11 once it is available and do not hesitate to share your feedback.

I want to follow up on this topic - Sisense is working on bringing the ability to change dashboard loading animation per the Look and Feel theme. This will enable not only to replace the default loading animation but also to customize each embedding solution.
New capability should be included in the next official release.
