Hi

I was trying to install the PrismDesktopSetup file, but it delivers an error message early in the install process saying:

"Unable to save file: C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{...\Desktop.msi The system cannot find the path specified"

However, it works if you right click on the install file and choose "Run as Administrator". Don't know why that should be necessary, since I am already logged in as administrator?

This behavior should not happen. 

I addressed this issue to our development team and it will be solved in the upcoming release.

 Even I am facing a problem similar to this. But in my case it lets me to install but when I try to open it ,Vista ask for pemission to proceed further.

Is there a new version which answers this proble?

Hi, Do you have an option to approve when Vista ask for permission to proceed? If this is the case, please allow Prism in vista due to a first run license check. If this is not the case, please send me a screen shot to illustrate the problem (support@sisense.com) Adi

I think I didn't explain my problem properly.So here it goes

1. I am able to install prism desktop

2. I can connect and work with prism desktop

3. But whenever I open Prism vista ask for permission ('A program needs your permission to continue') . This happens every time i open prism,

 which is quite irritating

 I tried to google this..which gave me several options like..turning off UAC( I don't prefer this)...however one said it is the owner company which has to solve this problem and usally this is done through new release..so is there a new release which answers this problem

 one correction ....it says "unidentified program wants access to your computer"
